They say regardless of that, religion is still important in maintaining law and order in society. Matters like lust/sex, greed, crime, lying, slandering etc... In fact, that's also one of the theories going around on how religions like Christianity was even adopted by the Roman Empire in the first place. Religion was not just a belief, it was also a way of connecting people into a shared set of moralistic values and governing them by it, even if that meant by way of fear (if you do this, you go to hell eg.) What do you guys think? EDIT: I'm looking to discuss just the idea of religion as a means to govern society. NOT about whether God is real or not yadayada. That one is another topic by itself |

You'd need to have insanely smart AIs to be programmed to react all situations and actions taken by the player or else it'd be too easy to win everytime. And to program AI to be like that...is just unrealistic. Go look at the Hitman series. That game has one of the smartest AI the devs can possibly program and even then, the AI is predictable. It's like playing L4D versus as the infected against AI survivors. It's so stupid and boring This is why only multiplayer works. Also it's more fun when you're yknow...thrashing actual people?? |

But Dead by Daylight is the most prominent and dedicated one of all. The reason why such games aren't done more often is because to play as the monster, you'd need either very very smart AI (which is unlikely) or human players to be the survivors, right? And that means the game would have to be multiplayer, right? And most indie multiplayer games just tend to fail because they cant even get a substantial playerbase to begin with. |

Backhands across the face to goons who literally stand still with their hands down. All the gunplay was not tense at all, JW just shoots them in the head every time usually without any obstacles in the way. There were almost no acrobatics. Not that they have to be on strings jumping on trampolines, but something would be cool besides like 2 somersaults the whole movie. I don't get a sense of JW's intelligence or expertise like I do from Jason Bourne. Have yall seen Boondock Saints? That movie is just nonstop gunplay and it's awesome. Kingsman has awesome combat scenes, lots of creativity in the gadgets and martial arts. And even the violence was whatever. Just headshots and blood spit out of mouths. Nothing that made me go "oof" or anything like that. The key thing about John Wick that makes it stand out is the gunplay used. It's literally the only non-military action movie I know which portrays gun fights correctly. Notice how KR never shoots in full-auto, always makes sure to reload the gun (unlike your typical infinite bullets BS seen in other action movies) and sometimes he also switches guns with fallen enemies to make sure ammo isn't depleted. The gun handling is also well and on-point. |

The moment someone realises he/she is rated highly, they'll perceive themselves as having a higher 'bargaining power' and will be more selective in who they socialise with and who they want to have a relationship with. You can see this clearly in dating apps for example. In doing so, these people also tend to be become jerks in how they perceive themselves on a higher pedestal so they have the power to put in less effort during dates and ghosting people. Of course, many also choose to hide this trashy personality under a 'nice' facade. Am i wrong? |

| Wutobliteration 07/25/20 3:16:44 AM #1 | for those that don't know, Asia is the largest continent in the world that consists of South Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, West Asia, Central Asia, and North Asia... notice how East Asia (consisting of Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan) is just a very very small portion of this massive ass continent? South Asia contains India. Central Asia contains the -stan countries, and Southeast Asia is the most diverse, consisting of major Muslim (Indonesia, Malaysia), Buddhist (Thailand) and Christian (Philippines) nations that we hardly hear about. Even in China alone, there are hundreds of various ethnicities being marginalised. But here someone hears Asian and they think of a Japanese, Korea or Chinese person. Heck, some people can't even tell the difference between these three nationalities. |
