If you take a glance, a lot of superhero stuff is just so massively outdated. Batman having both his parents killed. So what? There's plenty of more sobbering backstories a character could have than that. Or superman being able to do nearly omnipotent stuff because the creator back then was too lazy to bother thinking up of a character with proper rules and limitations. Or the hulk growing without his pants ripping off... Tony Stark only making a single suit for himself to wear when he might as well just create unmanned armies of robots... And why the hell do you have 'superheroes' like Black Widow who just shoots guns (and apparently still doesnt violate superhero code 101) or Hawkeye with a bunch of medieval arrows? I'm pretty sure it's easier to use a gun firing explosives than shoot a slow-ass bow and arrow.
And let's not get into Captain America and his ridiculously nationalistic attire in today's world while bashing people with a shield.

If you have a favourite playlist of like 30 songs, you just need to create 30 separate playlists

I just notice something about Spotify.
It only allows you to play on shuffle for songs in a playlist, right?
You can't play any individual songs you want.

So why not just create each and every one playlist containing only one song? That way you can play whichever song you want and bypass the restriction.

Or am I missing something from this possible exploit?

I use YT downloader :) I get full control of everything lol

I get looks whenever I tell people I don't use spotify. I download music offline, downloaded off to my phone. I'm using a limited mobile plan so my internet usage has to be strongly monitored all the time.

Really see no probs with it. I don't have to put up with stupid ads by Spotify, and all the crap involved like being unable to skip songs and play any song I want.
I get full control over all my music and don't have to spend on internet bandwidth either.

Uh, yeah. Old roommate of mine. He was this extremely jacked Korean guy who competed in bodybuilding competitions. Dude kept 6-7% body fat year round, incredible physique. Yet he is unfortunately ugly with his face, Lacks confidence, and currently a virgin (hes 26 iirc).

it's exactly how colorful and whacked out it is that makes it cool. Not like say, that recent power rangers movie that tries to make a bunch of lame colorful rangers into some edgy crapfest. Older kamen rider shows also tried to be edgy one way or another.

I like how this show just goes fullblown on ridiculoussness instead. The transformations are so childish and ridiculous they're actually badass

maybe its just my tastes then. I listen to specific songs, regardless of artists. So I won't download a whole album of even my favourite artist if 90% of them are trash

i have like 200 albums i want to have access to. at least. my last phone was 64GB of space and i filled 50GB up with music in no time at all. then i was stuck having to delete old things to add new stuff and it was a pain.

Because if you have unlimited data, it's easy to stream what you want to hear, instead of having to download the mp3 (which takes up space on your device).

That said, I still use an old iPod with songs downloaded to it, because I like having full control of my playlists without having to pay for a subscription. People are always so shocked when I pull out an iPod touch. "Wow I haven't seen one of these in years." Lol

If you study through evolutionary history, it's always just rising to the top. Being the apex. Humans helping one another during say, cavemen times, was out of a need of survival. Being in a group ensures higher rates of survival than being a lone wolf. That's how the illusion of altruism comes about.

In truth, altruism is NOT inherent to humans nor real. It does not exist because at our very core, we're all selfish beings

I don't think it's needed, but I do think it's useful and even healthy for people to derive meaning from something they consider to be larger than themselves. The only real problem I have with religion is using it for untoward reasons, like personal gain or to amplify bigotry.

Morality is based on empathy and law. Of course, people can lack empathy and laws can be abused to harm/benefit certain people. But a greater societal focus on "treat people with respect and kindness and you'll be paid in kind", with a just punishment system to dissuade crimes like murder and fraud, is entirely possible without religion. That "higher power" that drives people to act morally can easily be respect for one's fellow man.

Not that life is that simple, of course - but there are reasons that appeal to basic human instinct which can instill morality in a society. Religion is one way to communicate a broader set of ethics and morality to a receptive audience if utilised in a positive way, but it isn't a requirement.

A legal system can only go so far to only prevent the worst of crimes and wrong acts, but it does not reward volunteerism and selfless acts for others. Not everyone believes in this non-religious idea of karma and those that do often just find themselves eventually getting taken advantage of.

I don't think it's needed, but I do think it's useful and even healthy for people to derive meaning from something they consider to be larger than themselves.

A lot of non-religious people eventually deduce their idea of meaning of life to mean 'just maximise happiness/satisfaction'. Except as we all know, humans have an endless need for satisfaction. This could mean partying, drinking, hookups and living a reckless but satisfying life that in the end, still gets us nowhere.
If you read up on King Solomon, it clearly illustrates this aspect of human nature, where a person can have everything in the world and yet not be happy. Because we keep wanting MORE.

Various philosophies throughout history has sprung up because of this to justify a way of living that people can be content with
