Why is talk only of a direct gunfight, anyway? What happened to all these grenades, tear gas sprays, helicopters, etc... deployed when it's a BLM protest? Where's the armored vehicles that were picked up from the military?

They weren't there, there was clear failures. It's part of the investigation. They failed to maintain the outer perimeter which may or may not have been suspect there is at least one video clearly showing the cops just casually moving out of the way for the terrorists. Once they got into close quarters it just got worse for the police who were actually trying to do their jobs.

And you're really underrating it. These terrorists had police in their ranks who kept flashing their badges and expecting the capital police to step aside. Former military used their training to attack the constitution. Members of congress gave terrorists a tour the day before so they knew the lay out.

There is so much fucked up here that I simply can't view it through the simple lens I did the day of where this almost seemed comical.

It's their narrative. They basically argue all the protests are riots, any calls for peaceful demonstrations are support of riots, and they refuse to believe us when we say we hate the rioters because they cover up the message they are so eager to ignore.

The capital was already being breached and the ex head of the dc police was calling for national guard 5 minutes before trump was even done speaking. Not to mention he was speaking over a 40 minute walk away from the capital. Trump can't be held responsible for incitement for something that was already taking place 40 mins away while he was speaking.

I've already seen the legal eagle video, yea Trump can't get a criminal conviction on incitement, but he can absolutely be impeached for for this. He refused to send in the national guard for hours.

Faith that what he says is true, faith that if he says the election was stolen then it was stolen and no evidence to the contrary or lack of evidence to support the claim will matter to them. Because evidence they don't agree with is not part of their reality.
