I think theres a good balance between the two points of view, though Brylena does come off a little arrogant without any previous scenes for me to read to put her into a better context.

Yeah, this is the main criticism I was expecting. I know I made her character a total bitch. That's something I want to fix, because the novel so far is shaping up so far to be a love story / triangle, so the characters need to be someone that a person can realistically fall in love with.

I'm interested, but what kind of feedback exactly are you looking for? I can give it a read once I have an idea. I'll admit I don't really write/read fantasy myself, but I think I'm generally a pretty solid writer.

OK, so there's a verbal conflict/confrontation that happens in this scene. Sort of like one you might see between Ray and Deb on Everybody Loves Raymond. I guess I want to see how well-written the conflict was. Did it keep your interest? Did you feel the emotions that that were likely intended (there's one part that's supposed to lighten up the conflict and make you laugh. I'd be interested to see if you could spot it)? Was it too easy to be on one characters side of the argument -- was one of them significantly worse in this conversation than the other? Do you feel like the conflict was resolved -- maybe not totally, but at least enough to keep you interested in how this might develop the characters for what may occur in the future?

If you or anyone can answer any or all of those questions, and possibly come up with additional helpful comments, that would be appreciated.

Most people can't recognize more than 40-something FPS. Gamers like to play games at 60 FPS because it allows for a buffer, so if the frame rate dips down to 40-something due to irregularities, it won't be noticeable.

Some people can recognize higher frame rates, but I'd be damned if someone claims they can see differences after 100 and they're not lying.

I say all that to say this: there is definitely a difference between 30 and 60. I can easily see frame skips when I play Breath of the Wild, even when it is running at the highest FPS rate (game is locked at 30 on the Nintendo Switch).

Bruh, I've lived in rural towns in Alabama my whole life. Grew up in a Christian/conservative home and almost every teacher/professor/manager I've ever had has been conservative. Believe me when I say I know conservatives.

Being high at work is fantastic if you're the type who can hide it. Using eye drops and all that. Get so much shit done without a care in the world.

I agree, but I never even use eye drops. My eyes don't get as red as they used to unless I hit a dab. But yeah like I dont even mind being at work if I toke up right before I go in. If anything, I'm probably more likely to get chatty with my co-workers which makes the day go by faster.

I took 2 days off to give myself an extra long weekend to play DOOM Eternal. If I had known it would actually take me 3 weeks to beat it because the levels are so long that I only had the energy to play one per day max, I would have saved those days for something else.

I haven't played it since I was like 7, but DKC3 was actually made by a different team. It was entrusted to Rare's "B Team," if you could say there is such a thing, while the main team was working on some other game. At least that's the story I heard.
