But hearing someone like Jeff not be on top if whats happening is frustrating. Vinny has been sliding away for awhile since he had kids,, brad is not as great, rorie is rorie.... I mean, the core crew are all old farts (for the game industry) at this point; late 30s to maybe mid 40s? Plus, many have families. It's just the natural part of getting older that you just can't "keep up" with all the newest stuff. They're a personality driven site, so I don't see any reason why they NEED to cover all the latest games if they're not interested. I guess for me I still feel that excitement/intensity of "can I get this run to work" since success is not trivial. But I'm still enjoying the combat and the exploration therein. If you're not, it might just be time to move on. I tried a 0 heat run with Guan Yu since I didn't have any more titan blood to bump up the healing from -70%. I found that spin to be 1000% more useful than the regular spear, plus the healing effects were useful. I had a pretty nice run going and managed to get all the way to the Theseus fight. Then, as usual, that got me. I was playing cautiously since I only had maybe 55 max health but taking a hit was 10-15 health and I just couldn't find a rhythm to consistently connect on the spin attack without getting hit again. Still felt like I took some bullshit splash damage from Theseus' spear while I was hiding behind a pillar but oh well. It's been a while since a game bit me hard like this. As soon as I lose I'm immediately compelled to talk to everyone, do some upgrades, and get back out there again. I can't trade blows with Theseus/Minotaur or Hades. I've got to take my shots then back away and regroup. I've been going to the gym for the last few months now, wearing a mask the entire time (outside of drinking water), with no issue. The key was using a surgical mask that didn't blow into my nose when inhaling. I've noticed no ill effects on my ability to lift, plus it's nice that there's a lot less people. It was my first time with the shield, and honestly I hate the shield, and was only playing with it for 20% darkness, trying to farm darkness. I also just got my first clear, where I also only happened to be using the shield because of the bonus! Much like you, I always forget about its ability to block and bull rush, so the run was going pretty damn badly early on. I don't remember exactly but I died quite a few times early in the run and barely even made it out of Tartarus. Then I got that Duo power that heals you every second (Stubborn Roots) and I was back in it again since I had no more revives left. A little later, I got the power that turns your bull rush into a projectile, which meant I could basically just stand in place, block (almost) everything, and shoot to kill. Well, I was just trying to be funny... But yes, I'm aware of some of the politics (alleged or otherwise) behind there being 2 Dakotas. I think it's interesting to think about though. Imagine that D.C. and P.R. are added as new states. In response, a red state, lets just say Texas for this example, "decides" to split up into smaller states so there could be more GOP Senators. So they "gerrymander" into 6 new states, with 2 consisting of the main metro areas, while the other 4 are more rural. One of those new states (containing the Metroplex) decides it wants to split up so Dallas is it's own state from Ft Worth. You can kind of see where it's going. Honestly, I don't think it could really happen because the logistics would be a nightmare.
