there was an old Sabrina comic short, where she cast an ironskin spell or something on her boyfriend and forgot about it. somehow he got into a fight and the guy punched him, breaking his hand. when he got home he said something like "you wouldn't believe the fight I was in!" "what happened?" "I hit him in the fist with my face!"

If you mean stuff like Icewind Dale, then just Icewind Dale... and even then, not much - I vaguely remember a Dwarf who wanted to be a Monk.
that doesn't sound familiar... you start in a small snowy village (Easthaven), do some tutorial quests, and then in chapter 1 you're in a green village built around a warm tree (Kuldahar), and the first area you travel to is a snowy crypt (Vale of Shadows)

normally I don't like "bits of stuff" in something that should be smooth, like pudding or ice cream, but for orange juice I definitely enjoy it more with pulp.

unfortunately I don't think I can have it anymore regardless; gives me heartburn so bad it's scary.

have you played any infinity engine game? BG1 and 2 are two of the best games that will ever be made.

I'll be going into BG3 as blind as possible once its out, but we have to wait a couple weeks still I think, and even then I think it will be "early access" which isn't a good sign. not sure if I'll grab it now or when it's out of early access.

TES, DOOM and Fallout are now Microsoft properties
hmmmmm

the more I think of it, the more I think this is (probably) a good thing, or even a great thing. Bethesda's whole problem is that they barely even qualify as a software company. well, now they're owned by one of the biggest and "best" software companies in the world. that's exactly what is needed to get better games out of them, very theoretically.

the only worrisome part is that Doom doesn't really need any help right now, so MS better not mess with it.

I think that he's getting at the fact that in logic, all of nothing is true (or, it's true that all items in the empty set have whatever property).

there's various reasons for this. you can think of All as being equivalent to "not any not". so, it's true that there are not any items in the empty set that don't have whatever property. (ie, "all" of the items have the property).

it's true, but it's also a vacuous truth, similar to a tautology.

I talked about this relatively recently but can't remember if it was on gamefaqs.

I had my Switch in a fabric carrying case for a long time. Took it out recently to play some games and it wont charge at all. Is this a common issue? I turned a DS on the other day that was found in a box from sometime in 2012 (unsure how much older the DS is) and it fired right up. So I dont know whats happening with my Switch.
li-ion batteries are designed to deactivate if they run too low on charge, because there are safety mechanisms in the battery that rely on having a charge. once parts of the battery deactivate, they never reactivate. so, when you let the charge get too low, they will permanently lose chunks of charge depending how low you let it get.

can't be sure that's what's going on though. can also be a cable problem, etc. (though I think the switch has a charge stand or something? is the charge stand plugged in and the cable ok? my family has a switch but I don't so I don't know a ton about it specifically.)

just caught my 24th mouse today too. I think the trap wasn't going off and he was just eating the bait at first. when I got home he took off and I was like "oh great", but before I could even start thinking about how to approach catching him he activated the one snap strap I had set on the other side of the house. so in like 4 seconds he ran across the house and set off the one trap (he must have considered it his home base or something after snacking on it? either that or there might be two of them... sure hope not.)

it got him in the ribs instead of the head so he died slowly and painfully compared to normal. surprisingly little mess though.
