I definitely want to try Eden, but right now I'm still playing Slay the Spire pretty heavy.

Meanwhile I noticed I also have a new favorite mangaka. I was reading Virgin's Empire (a pretty shameless yuri ecchi/slice of life), and the art seemed familiar. Turned out it was the same artist as a manga I read a long time ago called Maka-Maka, which at first glance is just yuri smut, but on closer inspection is still smut, but with a little bit more.

And it's also the same artist from Colorful (TV show, not movie). I haven't seen the manga, but the anime is an absolutely hilarious over-the-top parody of guys making fools of themselves trying to get a glimpse of women's underwear. The English dub in particular is great and frequently lampshades just how dumb the whole thing is.

No idea how I'm even going to get it. Last time they unceremoniously dumped it onto a debit card from last year that I just happened to still have. I don't know if I still have it now. If it's supposed to go to direct deposit (since that's how I filed my taxes last year) then I haven't gotten it yet.

I'm literally playing Slay the Spire right now. Best game I've bought this year.

And the Steam version has tons of really good mods. Wish I'd known that before I bought it on PS4. I'm actually thinking of double dipping just for the mods.

I think overall the genre is way... way overplayed. But that being said, I have enjoyed most of the ones that I've checked out. Konosuba, Shield Hero, Re:Zero, and Mushoku Tensei are all cool.

To be honest I'm kind of reluctant to share it, because the community and developers are still very active and the game is still being updated, just a few weeks ago in fact. If they see just how broken this is they're very likely to patch it out.

I just (partially) discovered a glitch in Slay the Spire that kind of breaks the game wide open.

But after experimenting with it a little I realized that that person only scratched the surface of the possibilities that the glitch provides. It basically can be exploited on every level you reach, for various benefits. I'm still in the process of exploring how everything works and what it's capable of.

I like the premise, but I'm not good at making good decisions quickly and staying on beat. I've got the original game and I haven't gotten very far, except with the character that doesn't have to move on beat.
