I feel like I was doing better before than I am right now. A few weeks ago, I flew to another state in the hopes that I might someday establish residence there. Yet, in the weeks leading up to the day of my flight, I could not help but feel like something was amiss. Sure, I was scared to move. And yes, I must admit that I did not try to reschedule the flight in spite of the fact that I felt unprepared. But it was not until I had gotten onto the plane, that I realized that I had abandoned the only person I ever loved and cared about in the world. I cried on the way there, and realized that getting on the plane was a mistake, much like Rachel Green's mistake in the series finale of that show with those blokes and gals what frequent that fictional New York coffee joint. I waited patiently for six hours or so to get to the state which I must admit shamefully, I had no idea would suit my fancy or not. It was well past eleven in the PM when I had gotten off the plane. It was dark, scary, and I had to keep looking over my shoulder the whole time I walked to the hotel I had planned on staying at until I could find a place in which I could call home. In another part of my mind, the only place I could call home, I realized, was thousands of miles away with a great big ocean to separate me from it--the same ocean I once thought of as the walls of a prison, much like that Riku bloke from that video game with the hearts, the doors, and the giant key-shaped swords. I had arrived at the hotel, greatly exhausted from two hours of walking and panicking through a surgical mask that greatly inhibited my ability to breathe properly. I signed my name and got my hotel room, at which I sighed in great relief at finally having found refuge in a closed space free from any ne'er-do-wells that dare steal everything I own, which I had packed into the luggage I had dragged for two miles or so in the dead of night. Taking my mask off properly, I finally breathed free; greatly dehydrated and so thoroughly hungry, for I had not eaten since ten in the AM that morning. I then asked the hotel clerk for three bottles of water, which cost me one and a half American dollars each. I did not complain about the price of the water--not like I had a sense of how much things cost, due to my woefully scant knowledge of living alone and operating independently of the parents what had supported me these past twenty-six years. I was vaguely aware that the bottles were marked-up. Bought in bulk at my home state, I know they would have cost me a fraction of what I had paid at the hotel. Anyway, I returned to my hotel room and started munching ravenously on the snacks I had packed in my bag. I drank and I snacked on trail mix, aware that I had not eaten a proper dinner before sleep had accosted me. There was this odd smell when I first came into the hotel room. I dare not speak of what I suspected the previous guest did to induce this particular smell. All I want to say is that it was well away from the smoke detector in the main room, which would add an extra two-hundred and fifty American dollars to the bill were it to be set off. Then I began to panic again, for I was most unsure of the cleanliness of the surfaces present in this hotel room. It was then, that I cemented my decision to return home by booking a return flight no more than two days after arriving. For the next two days, I was in a state of perpetual panic, feeling this incessant need to play "The Floor is Lava" with my hotel room. I was finally glad to be shot of it once I hopped on the shuttle to the airport, which I really should have used two days prior. I did not sleep those two days. I dared not touch any surface. I did not realize how much of a bad idea moving to another state with no family, no job, and no place would be, in addition to the Virus exacerbating my needlessly high levels of anxiety and complicating making a living. I had not realized how much I had underestimated it until this particular excursion. Now I regret it in earnest. Even after fourteen days of mandatory quarantine in my own house, I had not quite gotten over the shock and fear I had experienced on the trip. I had not contracted anything while on the plane in close quarters with a bunch of people too close to me for my own comfort. However, I felt like a germaphobia that had lain dormant since my elementary days had re-awakened. I was foolish enough to leave an electronic device in my backpack, which prompted a TSA worker to check it with gloves that I only hoped she was required to change upon every inspection. It was then, I felt that even the inside of my own bag was no longer safe. Anyway, I started obsessively disinfecting my hands every time I touched some surface. On the plane home, I panicked on-and-off about coming home and potentially infecting everyone I know and love. In the end, as it transpired, I had shown no signs of having contracting anything life-threatening, if fourteen days of having had no symptoms is any indicator of a great fear that had nagged me for that timeframe. Two days after my required self-quarantine, here I am. On the plane home, I had contemplated my decision: I was going to choose to stay here. And if I held this to be true, I posited then that I must find work. Then my current worries, insecurities, and feelings of utter and complete inadequacy returned to me. I always feel like I have no skills, no experience, and that I am not fit for any role. I've no social skills to speak of, and I haven't picked up any skills in academia, something I have been chastising myself for each and every day since I graduated in May, a year ago. Since then, I've been wondering what I had been doing in my life up until then. Wasting it? Surely, I told myself. I have a fair share of regrets in life. Not bothering to think of a vocation I might pursue once I leave school by far trumps every one I have had up until then. It makes my ruminations about my terrible behavior which I had burdened each and every one of my peers with, and which had usually transformed me into an object of universal dislike, seem almost trivial. Yet, these thoughts and memories intrude on my daily life, even now. I regret that I am unable to shut these thoughts and memories down. "What am I doing with my life?" "What do I want to do now?" I find myself asking these question more and more often nowadays. I can never think of adequate answers to either of these questions, which only increases my need to berate, and sometimes plague, myself with them on a daily basis. I can never enjoy my life nowadays, I find. I find myself reminiscing about my college days when I could find myself among peers, even though I could never call them anything more than acquaintances. I do miss those lot, even though I did not necessarily like all of them, and likewise. I pine, and I yearn so foolishly for friendships I never had, and I think myself a most pitiful person. I do not exactly have any energy in the mornings nowadays. Nothing I do seems to have any point or purpose anymore. I find myself saying this far too often, I should think; I am more than sure that I have mentioned this to you lot before. Though I do look for work on a daily basis, it just gets to be tiring sometimes, sifting through lists of descriptions that do not quite fit me. It's disheartening, really. But I digress; my work-related discourses, in hindsight, seem meaningless in light of the fact that countless positions for unskilled positions do exist, which sort of negates my worries. Anyway, today, I found a position that I have not quite gotten around to investigating properly. I was also e-mailed by my vocational counselor some more resources to help me along the way to find work. Frankly, I feel pessimistic about my career outlook. These days, I just stare blankly ahead, seeing without really looking, somewhat detached from reality. I do not know what is wrong with me.

That Harry Potter book with Slughorn and a LaTeX reference book. I've been trying to get myself to review textbooks on math subjects I've taken, but admittedly, I have not taken an interest in said textbooks, nor can I find any valid reason to go through them other than the fact that I feel like I have gotten--or rather, I am afraid I have gotten--rusty. I just do not see the point, honestly, considering I've no plans to return to college anytime soon and it would be more productive to spend my time and efforts into finding work.

My first user-name was called "Eclair_de_XII", themed after this character from Kingdom Hearts. Her weapon was called "Eclair", and she was the twelfth to join the recurring group that have served an antagonistic role in the series since 2004. Later on, I closed that account, and named this one after that Final Fantasy video game for the PlayStation 3. It seemed appropriate, since I was coming off a two-year hiatus from the site.

It seems like it is only good for system administration purposes and the occasional edits that a programmer must make to his or her system to accomplish something. Anything I need to do in the command prompt (move files, open programs, etc.) I find faster to do with the Windows GUI. It does not seem like a tool that would be useful for every-day computer usage for some lay-user, bottom-line. These are my initial impressions of this sysadmin tool as an inexperienced computer-user. I wonder if they are accurate. Anyway, are you the type of user to use the terminal/cmd regularly? You know, a simple Google search of the institute in question is enough to tell that it doesn't give degrees, nor is it accredited, nor is it even a learning institution of any sort.

From PragerU Wikipedia page
PragerU is not a university or academic institution,[5][4] and does not hold classes, grant certifications or diplomas, and is not accredited by any recognized body.[6]

Also, the site itself just says this out-right: https://www.prageru.com/faq/

Are you an accredited university?
No, PragerU is not a university, nor do we claim to be. We do not offer degrees. However, we are the most influential online resource for explaining the concepts that have made America great.
