Logan Paul spent a fortune on Pokemon cards.

The 25-year-old YouTuber revealed that he spent $2 million on Pokemon cards on social media on Wednesday (February 3).

After a popular series of Pokemon unboxing events in 2020, Logan tracked down the increasingly rare first edition of the cards, amassing one of the biggest collections of the original set.

The first box reportedly cost the most of any: $350,000, containing just under 400 Pokemon cards. He then bought three more boxes from different sellers at $325,000 each.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Thursday will propose providing at least $3,000 per child to millions of American families, lending bipartisan support to President Bidens push to dramatically expand child benefits.

Romneys proposal would provide $4,200 per year for every child up to the age of 6, as well as $3,000 per year for every child age 6 to 17. Senior Democrats are currently drafting legislation as part of their $1.9 trillion stimulus proposal that would provide $3,600 per year for every child up to the age of 6, as well as $3,000 for every child aged 6 to 17.

The emergence of Romneys child benefits plan as Democrats prepare a similar effort could give the White House an opportunity to incorporate policies with bipartisan support into its relief package. Romney has said Bidens stimulus proposal is too expensive, meaning he may vote against the broader plan even if it includes much of his new child benefits proposal.

Romneys new plan, like the one being explored by senior Democrats, would provide the benefit monthly by depositing it directly in taxpayer bank accounts. T.J. Osborne, one half of the country duo Brothers Osborne, is publicly discussing being a gay man for the first time.

Together, the duo has won four CMA Awards and been nominated for seven Grammys.

As a result, T.J.s coming out makes him one of the most established country singers signed to a major label to be openly gay.

Speaking in an interview with Time, the country artist explained that hes "very comfortable being gay," having been out to close friends and family for a while. He himself knew from a very young age how he identified. However, given country music fans' reputation of being somewhat unforgiving to people whose values differ from theirs, he was afraid to go public with his sexuality for years.

"I find myself being guarded for not wanting to talk about something that I personally don't have a problem with. That feels so strange," he explained.

"People will ask, Why does this even need to be talked about? and personally, I agree with that," he explained. "But for me to show up at an awards show with a man would be jaw-dropping to people. It wouldnt be like, Oh, cool!"

Seyi Omooba, who was fired from the 2019 West End revival of The Color Purple when past homophobic remarks resurfaced, had a rule against playing gay roles and didn't understand that the main character was in a same-sex relationship, a U.K. court heard this week.

Omooba was initially cast to play the lead role of Celie, who falls in love with another woman, Shug Avery, in the musical play. When anti-LGBTQ+ social media posts and comments she made in 2014 became public, she was fired from the role. I do not believe homosexuality is right, though the law of this land has made it legal, she wrote on her Facebook page, adding that she did not believe you can be born gay. She has now sued the theater and her former agents for religious discrimination and breach of contract.

The Central London Employment Tribunal heard testimony this week that the actress had told her agents that she would not do any sexually explicit scenes or play any gay roles, the BBC reports. Because of this, lawyer representing the theater said she wouldnt have played the role even if she wasnt fired.

Your position was you wouldnt play Celie if she was to be played as a lesbian, Tom Coghlin, who represents the theater, said to Omooba, and you didnt share it with the producers, you kept it secret. Omooba replied, I didnt feel like I needed to. I didnt believe that thats what this production was going to be.

Apparently, Omooba didnt tell the plays director or anyone else about this rule when she was hired because she didnt understand that the character was a lesbian. She also admitted that she didnt read the full script before accepting the role.

In a new interview with The Tonight Show, the 17-year-old actress and singer opened up about her decision to come out to her fans through a TikTok video.

I was doing TikTok with the people in the Pride House and Im like, I think this TikTok is going to out me, she shared. I was like, I dont really mind, it is true. In the wake of recent events, Big Loud Records has made the decision to suspend Morgan Wallens contract indefinitely, the statement read (via Variety). Republic Records, which distributes his recordings, fully supports Big Louds decision and agrees such behavior will not be tolerated.

Morgans music was also removed from iHeartRadio.
