In particular, I've found that Bill Wurtz, Mori Calliope, and [redacted] always sound like they're talking directly to or for me regardless of the subject matter or feeling of the specific song. I never watched the show, and I dropped the books when the shock value finally started outstripping my hope that anything good and interesting would ever happen to anybody I liked. Might put Bran back in, then, I was just struggling to think of something for him to do and not that attached. India could be a few things. Products might be weird, because most of the companies are themselves weird to begin with. It might be an inherent property of India that it struggles to support an industry. (CV is set up that way, but maybe that's in the data too) It might be that something about my balance is getting kinder over time- so far on the formal tests, JPN is going smoother than UK, which is going smoother than OCN, which is going smoother than IND, which is the order they went in lol. It might be that the top feds in India are mostly propped up by actual kids. Will keep monitoring and maybe start asking questions at GDS or experimenting.
