Came into this topic with this in mind, lol. That thing was so flimsy that you had to regularly clean plastic out of the stick area. Some of nintendo's own games like the first mario party were designed to help ruin those sticks even faster.

Currently giving the marines hell in a battle since the world government decided to strip all of the warlords of their authority and position, and a marine force tried to arrest him and his crew at his base of operations.

All the other warlords are (or were, because lets be real, mihawk, hancock and weevil most likely murked the hell out of the forces that were sent after them) in similar battles.

As always, it depends on where you live. In my area/south carolina, its sold out in walmart (the only copy I see is via a online 3rd party store for 79.99), target, gamestop in a 50 mile radius, and best buy. Gamestop's and target's online store has some (along with amazon) but that won't help the TC since he ordered from walmart.

Hopefully walmart just gives him the refund so he can get it from somewhere else.

Damn, that sucks. I would try to get in contact with walmart's support line, and explain the situation in detail. Same with whoever delivered the package, ups/usps/fedex. Filing a police report will probably get you nowhere sadly.

If you don't have a prior history of always requesting refunds, then walmart will most likely easily give you a refund for your game. As far as the game itself goes, yeah, you are most likely beat since that thing went rare the moment nintendo announced that they will discontinue it eventually.

The situation you just went through is the exact reason why I still continue to go to my local gamestop or best buy and preorder in person for all my gaming needs...I don't really trust the people in my neighborhood like that despite living here for over 30 years, =/

Honestly, I am just hoping that PS5 actually does have PS4 BC. My PS4 pro gets overheat messages when I play red dead online. I took the case off and cleaned the fan, but still, getting that message a few times has made me cautious.

I planned on just getting a PS5 just so I can continue to play the current PS4 stuff (with the added bonus of actually getting 60 fps with those games that has unlocked framerates like nioh, monster hunter world, sekiro, dark souls 3, etc.) I am already playing since I feel just getting a replacement pro this close to new console time would feel like a waste of money in a way.

Basically, its like, why drop a decent amount of change to either send this pro off somewhere to get it fixed or get a new one, when I could just say screw it and buy a BC capable PS5. At least that way I would already have one to play any future potential PS5 games. I am already interested in ratchet and clank and the miles morales spider man game/expansion/whatever.

I remember my gears of war 1, 2, and 3 days being god awful, lmao. Like, I had a perfect reputation (the most terrible system microsoft ever came up with, and one I am glad sony never copied from them), but as soon as I got into gears of war MP, that shit straight up tanked via salty losers, lol.

My reputation was so tarnished that I was actually banned twice, 2 days each, because I am guessing my reputation got too low.

Nowadays, I imagine all platforms has a trash overwatch community.

I got it for Christmas the year it released. I didn't actually get my own game for it until February though, since super mario 64 was sold out everywhere. Had to rent Wayne Gretzky hockey and killer instinct gold from blickbuster for awhile just to have something to actually play, lol.

The original child's play. I was 5 when it came out in 1988, but I definitely remember seeing it in a drive-in theatre. (I remember sitting on the outside on the car/on the trunk facing backwards to the other screens across the way along with my older bro and was meant to watch a more child-friendly movie across the way, but I was all like fuck that noise and watched me some child play anyway.

After all these years, I am still pissed at only getting 1/3rds of a game with shining force 3.

But yeah, sega of japan was petty as hell, constantly butting heads with the more successful sega of america branch. They were constantly in-fighting at sega. Also, despite phantasy star online being my favorite game of all time, yuji naka is a ol' bumbitch (sega of america wanted to use the nights engine at one point to actually make a working version of that sonic xtreme game, yuji naka threw a bitchfit at baka gaijins using his engine, and threatened to leave sega over it, lol. Peter moore told yuji naka to fuck off at one point).

I also recently got into the whole limited run games and kickstarter thing. I don't go around and buy/kickstart every single game...just for the games I already know I am going to want and play. I backed for bloodstained ritual of the night, which I ended up really enjoying. I was a backer for that game indivisible, and that turned out nice. I also backed that suikoden spiritual successor game, so here is to hoping that turns up good two years or whatever from now. (I have yet to back any stinkers, so I am happy about that, lol).

As for limited run games, I got a limited edition for river city girls for ps4, a regular river city girls copy for the switch, a limited edition for mercenary kings and a classic edition for bloodstained curse of the moon. (This one looks cool since they made the box look like a NES konami game. Even has a NES cartridge cover in the box, lol):

How much is it going for now?

Last I heard, it was selling for close to 300 dollars if it's new, anywhere from 220 on up if it's used and most of the stuff is still packed-in with the box.

To this day, I am still in disbelief in how easily I managed to pre-order it myself. I heard that dudes usually have bots or whatever else to pre-order the popular nintendo limited edition stuff like that, but I was able to just hop on gamestop's website and casually put a pre-order down for it at the time.

I have a good bit of them, vast majority being for jrpgs. I have every single tales of CE, fire emblem special editions, trials of cold steel, persona 5 the royal, FF7 remake LE, etc. My most recent one is the xenoblade remaster LE.

PS2>PS4>PS1>PS3 for me (I was way more of a 360 gamer during the PS3's time. I had a PS3 to play the exclusives that interested me, but I was doing all my main third party gaming on the 360). PSP>Vita.

PS2 just had a endless stream of games I was playing. My favorite online resident evil game still has yet to get a modern port. (Resident evil outbreak files 1 and 2).

I'm one of the five people who liked 3D Land better

3D land was definitely cool, but going through the entirety of 3D world on 4 players, which I was able to do with my brother and two nephews, was amazing. I probably wouldn't have liked 3D world nowhere near as much had I played it by myself. Hopefully the switch port at least has a friends online multiplayer option so people who can't couch co-op get to experience the multiplayer as well.

Well that, and the soundtrack slaps.

Supposedly, super mario 3D world for the switch was accidentally leaked by best buy's website back in april. I don't doubt its coming since it was one of the few Wii U games that actually sold worth a damn.

My classic favorite dude, and the first one I ever played as is xiahou dun. When wang yi was first introduced in dynasty warriors 7 xtreme legends, she became my favorite character. I love her thirst for VENGEANCE, her edgy mosou where she straddles a person and stabs them in the chest with her twin trishula weapons, and her having an accompanying edgy music theme (both with vocals and instrumental), lol.



I hate that koie keeps switching her goddamn weapon for some reason.....then they made her a clone in dynasty warriors 9. All the clones in DW9 turned me off of the series.

Lootfest games can last an extremely long time for those of us that like these types of games. Diablo 2, diablo 3, phantasy star online, borderlands, etc. If sega were to ever make a classic phantasy star online episode 1 and 2 release on psn or xbox live, I would still be playing it on and off throughout the years....I never got tired of playing the classic releases honestly.

Certain beat'em ups age extremely well too. River city ransom (and it's recent release river city girls) is mad fun, and I have played river city ransom for years. Double dragon, etc.
