For one thing, every state and probably every city already has the power to set its own minimum wage to whatever they think is appropriate for the region. And secondly, the difference in cost of living is so vast in the country that the concept a "minimum" or "livable" wage does not exist. At best, it's redundant and does nothing because every business is already paying more than that. At worst, it eliminates jobs or hurts job growth and hours worked. |

There are parts from the second film that are pretty relevant to the story, but in either case the show does a recap of the trilogy followed by flashbacks whenever there's a callback to something. So theoretically you should be able to watch the show on its own without missing out. As for Part III, I've seen it two or three times and for the life of me I still can't remember what it's about. Something about another tournament, and I think there were trees? They wanted to save the trees? I don't know, it's definitely the most forgettable film in the franchise. Netflix pulled it just as I was going to watch it, too. |
