The fact remains a blue wave didn't happen. Trump pulled in more votes than any presidential candidate besides Biden in all of history. House legislatures did not flip. The Senate was not taken. Target has always had a B2G1 free deal about 3 weeks before Black Friday, and it is almost always a sucker's bet because the prices of games are usually lower than their b2g1 comes out to in the end on Black Friday itself, usually. It's why Target tried to exclude the newer gen games but people found ways to trick the system to include them.

She went into your son's room at night and both kids were there? Do they share rooms? I am under the impression that's not exactly legal in most areas.

That said, you made your bed on this one. You told them that nudity is natural and nothing is wrong with it. (Which is also kind of weird to teach to little kids, when nudity is of course not socially acceptable most places. It also seems to suggest to me that your wife and you are nude in front of your kids more than would be in a gray area itself).

I would pump the brakes on the nudity encouragement and also start to incorporate some talk that explains why someone should not be allowed to touch them inappropriately.

Saw an article from CNN about probability of people complying with another stay-at-home lockdown:

"The results show a political divide in those willing to stay home. About 40% of Republicans polled said they were willing to comply with a stay-at-home order, down from 74% in the spring.
By contrast, 87% of Democrats said they would likely comply, a slight drop from 91% in March and April."

The Republican number makes sense, as a lot of rural and small town red counties don't take COVID seriously and refuse to mask up or social distance. They are paying the price for that right now as hospitalizations are at capacity or over in a lot of rural areas. I'm guessing the 40% comes from suburban republicans or the wealthy.

The Democratic number confuses me though. Do they not poll anyone from the inner cities? I live in a major city, and I can tell you the urban community, which is highly Democratic, do not practice social distancing at all and mask wearing only if necessary. I understand this can be more of a poverty issue or what have you. Regardless of the reasoning, this a huge block of the democratic base and I don't understand how this poll came up with such high numbers unless they purposely didn't poll those people.

It's what they say to a poll, not what they will do.

It's funny how much fake news is being spread about the Xbox Series X launch.

First was the smoking consoles (literally people blew vapes into it to try and cause the panic).

Now it is the disc drives failing when it has been proven that you just need to exert a tiny bit of force the first time you put a disc in because of the seals. Then it works perfectly every time after.

It's been a week since the election. Democrats refused to accept their defeat in 2016 for years. Once the recounts are over, and the lawsuits are over, and the Electoral College has cast its votes, and Congress has counted the electoral votes, most Republicans will accept that it is over.

It's because they are all hypocrites. They screamed Russian collusion for years. When Russia just tried to sow discontent on both sides and basically did nothing outside of the ordinary. And republicans are just as hypocritical for telling them to shut up it is their president and to accept it and now they can't just the same.

The vaccine is not going to be widely distributed by then. And in fact, a vaccine coming soon is all the more reason to do a lockdown, since delaying cases just a little bit longer means youll actually prevent them from happening at all.

They are talking about having a billion doses by the end of 2021. Everyone requires 2. That means like 680-700 million doses. Which a significant portion of the populace will refuse to take. A significant portion of the populace will have already had it. I feel comfortable in saying in February the vaccines would be significantly distributed to those who want and need them.

Also, it is literally unconstitutional to impose a federal nationwide lockdown, so it's dumb.

Hell Corrik you've been a big proponent of "The goal is to not overrun the medical care system".

Well, guess what is happening? The hospital system is starting to be strained and will be overrun in much of the country at the current rate.

You can't institute federal lockdowns of non-federal locations. It is a state's right issue. It is why Trump could neither lockdown nor force states to open up.

There also is zero point to a 4-6 week lockdown in February if the vaccine is already being circulated also.
