Josiah_Is_Back 07/27/20 7:03:09 PM #3 | Guerrilla Soldier posted... didn't she care more about the guy from the second film? i always felt like she was never really, like, in love with billy or anything. they were just dating in high school. Yes, but the point of the scene would be to juxtapose what became of her life against what it could have been. Billy's betrayal is what gave Sidney trust issues, which caused her to doubt Derek's sincerity and culminated in his murder at the hands of Mickey. It all boils down to Billy. |

Josiah_Is_Back 07/24/20 11:22:28 PM #1 | Jump to 1:50. Ron Bath (on the right) is known for his power; Devon Larratt (on the left) is known for his insane tendon strength and being able to tire his opponents. Look at Devon's face at the very start of the match, when he manages to withstand Bath's initial pull. Sheer intensity man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTIvG6SueEk |

Josiah_Is_Back 07/22/20 1:48:46 PM #23 | smoke_break posted... This. I don't use it around people that aren't black though. Do you think it would make them uncomfortable, or give them a certain perception of you? |
Topic | How do you feel about the usage of the N-word? |
Josiah_Is_Back 07/22/20 1:45:55 PM #18 | I am particularly interested in what my black CEmen have to say about this. I've talked to a few people over the years who say that they use the N-word in reference to each other as a synonym for "bro" or "friend," and that this has a way of sort of rectifying (if I'm using the right word here) the negative connotations that the word has garnered from the centuries of slavery and mistreatment. Basically it's like reappropriating a word to help heal the wounds the word has contributed toward. Does that make sense? And is that true IYO? |

Josiah_Is_Back 07/18/20 8:33:44 PM #10 | Wii_Shaker posted... You can easily break an egg into a pan with your thumb if you don't mind a bit of egg on your hand. Oh I know, but the palm challenge is harder because the force is more evenly distributed. I posted my egg break on my Facebook page if y'all wanna check it out. I'll edit the OP. |

Topic | I thought breaking an egg in one hand was supposed to be impossible? |
Josiah_Is_Back 07/18/20 8:05:31 PM #1 | I had one horizontal in my palm and broke it rather easily, so I figured I had to be doing it wrong. Checked online and apparently the egg is supposed to be vertical in your palm, longitudinally along your hand. So I tried that, and it was a bit harder, but I still crushed the egg. I guess it's one of those things where they say "impossible" but it's really just hard for the average person? I posted it to my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/josiah.plummer.7/ |
