I hope the talk of seeing her sister was more hoping she doesn't have it rather than her wanting to go regardless...

If you decide every 2000 voters is a house seat. Then you have 3999 voters. 1999 voters didn't matter.

Where as a state with 4000 voters has 2 seats.

Why would an X number make a difference? If it isn't proportional then at that point you might as well just have straight popularity votes.

At least it's applied equally among all the states rather than certain states having a higher threshold than others (yes it's more complicated than that, but you are also simplifying it)...

It's a tough position to be in. Like obviously you can't force her to quarantine, but should you go around telling other people that you three may possibly have been exposed to the virus? There can be a lot of social (and thus relationship) consequences, especially if you guys do have it and spread it to other people.

If you can I would still quarantine or at the very least severely limit your contact with other people. At least you can do some damage control by reducing the spread.

So, let's just get everything in a row here.

Hub purged about 80% of their videos. Anything that was by anyone unverified was axed. This is after they got reports of underage and illegal non-consensual stuff on their website. Credit card issuers threatened to pull support for the site. The site tried to go through and just purge that stuff and make additional checks. Credit Card issuers again said no and still cut off payment.

Hub then purged the videos in response. Only verified accounts can post now.

HOWEVER, the problem is that a middle aged teen for the last year had posted her content there and that site even gave her an award or recognition of some sort as one of the up and coming names or something. And, that teen was a verified account also.

So, it is not exactly sure if purging these videos even helps their case or not to these credit companies.

It more has to do with public opinion, as long as the public feels the website is combating child/revenge porn the less likely the credit card companies are going to care.

I'm not sure what the verification process is, but I imagine it's tied to a person/company so if there was something illegal that was uploaded that person/company would be held liable rather than having to deal with anonymous uploads.

That's not surprising, the third party companies probably get some kind of percentage of the DLC sales while for the base game it would either be a lump sum or a very tiny percentage.

I wouldn't be surprised if as a concession for Cloud in the base game Square will get a higher percentage than other companies for Sephiroth (maybe Hero too). On top of whatever they got for Cloud.

Pretty much, at least with Pokemon there's a new generation so while people may be upset at least some portion would understand. With that said I think the chances of a new Fire Emblem representative is non-existent.

In terms of characters with a chance it'll likely be a Pokemon or Fortnite entry.

We like, really need to change the culture around delays, which would (or should) also change the culture around crunch. Nintendo still the best in the biz here. "f*** it, make 'em wait, we'll release Prime 4 in 2024!"

While I agree with the idea, using Nintendo as an example is unfair. They can afford to delay games because they are still making money off of Mario Kart and other games with long legs. CDPR pretty much has Witcher and I guess the revenue they earn from their gog.com division.

Thats a good way to get sued. Any C&D would be worded in such a way that any replacement tournament run by the same person would be in defiance of that order. Also, cease and desist orders are a courtesy that is not required before a lawsuit, so if he were to keep doing that they would just skip the C&D entirely.

Pretty much, C&D letters exist as a way to save money from a potentially costly trial. The threat of getting sued usually gets people to back down, especially if they know they are in the legal wrong.

As for Riku, there was actually a lot of buzz he could pull an upset and take second place here. As for why, I couldn't tell you. People were vastly overestimating Kingdom Hearts pre-contest, I guess. You couldn't even manipulate the x-stats enough to make Riku anywhere near Dante, yet 76 gurus picked Riku here. I couldn't tell you why.

People believed there was some kind of overlap between Dante and Leon. This was an explanation as to why Pikachu won his match over them in 2007 after just losing to Leon in the prior round.

In retrospective it sounds weird, but it worked for predicting Solid Snake/Ryu Hayabusa SFF.

Not every score is high, and some are as bad as a 7/10.

Yeah, this was the most vulnerable L-Block looked in a while. On the other hand, he got around the same percentage here as he did in rounds 2 and 3 in 2007 so all he needed was another late contest bandwagon. At the very least consistently getting 27-28% would usually be enough to keep advancing.

Alas, it never materialized.

COVID-19 has caused an increase of break-up/divorce. While a good portion of it was due to previous problems that was exasperated by the lock-down some of it was caused by the difference in opinion towards COVID both for themselves and towards handling their children.

Is there any way you can reach a compromise? Like even getting her to wear a mask in public and avoid touching her face or yourself until after she washes her hands will go a long way in reducing your risk. Ignoring the COVID part, being that dismissive of your feelings towards something you find important is a bit of an issue going forward.

The issue with having more than two or maybe three regions is the level system. You'll eventually steamroll everything due to being overleveled. The only way around it would be for each region to force you to restart your team or for gym/trainer battles to auto level to 50.
