I think just taking Red XIII's would be enough if your support character is good. Using two selections is probably overkill. It's true Rinoa's earth awakening is janky, I wouldn't recommend taking it, but I got a lot of mileage out of her AASB1+AASB2+HA combo. Even though diffuse removes her enEarth and you can't do anything about it, she was still able to break rage for me and the instant doublecasts are nice.

It is definitely good, but I don't know if it's worth it without his awakening. With the awakening he contributed a fair amount of damage as well as imperils. I think the rest of your team would have to be pretty stacked.

First Argent Odin win! I should have taken the screenshot on the earlier screen, but the team was Maria (G+, Awakening, USB, and AOSB that I was about to use but then he died), Cait Sith (honed AASB, G+, USB2), Rinoa (Earth sync, both Awakenings, HA), Red XIII (Chain, USB2, G+, Awakening, HA), and Elarra (G+, USB, Awakening). I invested pretty heavily to get the win, especially using my USB and G+ picks on Red XIII and honing his awakening. I'm not sure if that was all necessary but I figure it will be useful for the other elements as well.

It seems fair to me. Everyone got what was originally promised plus 10 extra mythril. That's pretty good. Some people get bonus relics, most of which were crap (I got a lensable USB for one of my least favorite characters, yay). A few people got lucky but that's just how the game works anyway.

This is a good PSA - you don't need to clear 33 different Magicite again to get the new mission rewards if you've already done it. You can clear your app data and then it will register that you have done the mission (just make sure your account is linked to your email so you're not deleting your game permanently)

Those banners aren't worth 15 pulls for me... I'm not sure if it's even possible for me to get to 750 mythril now, maybe if I skipped everything including LotR and lucky draws. 850 is impossible. I probably will do the two pull one though so I need to save 600.

I decided to pull on the X banner because it's a pretty good banner, X dreambreaker is hard, and it looks like the best water banner for the next 3 months. But I got Tidus's LBO and Paine's chain which isn't so great. I don't really want to dump more mythril after already doing 10 pulls on fest. Although I do have 100 left and I don't see much that's better in the next three months.

First I did the daily draw and got Yuna's awakening. (The summon one, not the one on the current banner)

Then the ticket, 4/10: Ace AOSB, Basch G+, dupe Luneth USB, dupe Yuna BSB.

I think I will also make some lens picks, Red's G+ and USB for starters. I might hone Cait Sith's awakening too. Really wish the stamp select thing would be fixed so I could get his USB now!

Rem seems pretty worth the hype. First I obliterated Ark for the weekly mission, then sub-30ed Diabolos on my first try with the rest of the team being pretty mediocre (Hope with just his chain, Arc with just his awakening). 14/16 6* magicites done! Just Magic Ifrit and Magic Valefor left to go.

I really really hope they fix this. It's just so stupid, there's no reason for them to make it work this way. I guess the good news is I didn't lose my Sync or G+ select, just my USB. But I could definitely use a good USB (probably Cait Sith) and the one I got randomly is total trash.

Let us know how it goes. When I tried that one my damage was terrible even though I had a stacked Lightning and Edge for my DPS. I had to use Tyro over Orran because I needed his crit fixing to get anywhere. But if you have Prompto's stuff maybe you don't need that (I had to use Shelke as my chainer and she can't imperil)

One thing I just realized recently is that the syncs available from the 10 stamp thing are VERY limited, and it looks like there aren't any new ones added to the list for 6A. I would have thought I could at least pick up Rydia's old one but that's not the case. The only ones I don't already have (after I get Rem this time) are Bartz, Cloud, and Locke.

Been trying to do physical-earth-weak argent Odin, it's frustrating how terrible Galuf's damage is. I wish I had used my awakening selection on something else since he does so little damage with it, he's better off just using his imperil-earth USB.

Pretty disappointing, since Tifa was my main want. But since I didn't get it I guess I have room in my earth team for Noctis with his sync. At least they kept the stamps, so Rem's sync is guaranteed. They're really slow rolling us this time though, with fest banners 2 days late, and then 3 days between banners instead of 2.

1/11 Dupe Rem awakening. Disappointing. And a dupe Garland BSB on the LotR.

I didn't see any mention of stamps in the announcements, which kind of makes me think we're not getting them. If so I guess I'll be doing less pulls on these fest banners since they don't fit my needs all that well.

I got Gilgamesh's awakening on the daily draw! My luck has been really good recently. Also picked up my Cloud stuff from the shop, time to see if I can do any better with the Dreambreaker and Odin. First attempt against the DB didn't get there, we'll see. Cloud's damage is great, but anti-heal is rough.

I did one pull on the banner for Shantotto's sync because I hit 550 mythril, and I realized I can't pull on the Shantotto sync banner next fest (too many dupes).

Since there are no realm artifact armors that would be tougher. But the guideline would basically be don't keep something if you don't have someone to use it. e.g. don't keep 3 fire armors if there are only 2 fire characters in that realm.

By the way, how do you use your preset teams? I'm out of space and I need to drop something... here's what I have:

1 daily dungeon team (whoever I'm farming magia for)
1 random slot for whatever I'm currently working on
16 6* Magicite teams
16 5* Magicite teams
17 Torment teams
9 Dreambreaker teams

I started replacing the 6* magicite with Argent Odin teams since I don't need to farm 6* magicite. I don't want to get rid of 5* or Torment teams because of weekly missions. But I need to get rid of something to save new dreambreaker teams.

You don't need to use Hurricane Bolt because his awakening gives zero air time... so you could use running start to build up SB and use the awakening, then use Sky High to do damage.

But yeah, I also decided to wait on the Argent Odins, I'm going to try again after the anima lens refresh.

I took Noctis's sync because it was the most powerful option, and Edge's awakening kind of for the same reason. Noctis let me finally take down Shiva with a physical team. I still need to figure out how to do the IV dreambreaker, but Edge is very good with sync and awakening. I still have one more pick. I realized some of the chainholders like Galuf and Garnet have kinda bad awakenings, so I'm not sure they're worth getting.

Luneth also has 9% dragoon damage bonus from his dive (12% if you fully unlock the Sky High node). So that's definitely his primary role.

6 hits vs 5 doesn't matter much because Cloud's cap is 99,999 with USB1. The multiplier matters more and HA is 5.5 vs 5.4 for sync ability. The +50% ability boost is great but not THAT much better than 30% rank boost on the awakening. Triple infuse is an advantage for sure. I'm using his glint but that takes extra turns and extra SB gauge. So I guess it would definitely be an upgrade, the question is just whether it's worth passing up Noctis's ATB sync for it.

Ripping Storm does have a bad multiplier. I'd use Sky High instead if you can. Ripping storm is 0.85x4, ramping up to 0.85x5 and then 0.85x6 after 5 uses. Sky High starts out at 0.95x6. And Luneth's awakening gives zero air time which removes the downside.

Did you have his awakening before? I doesn't look to me like it does much his awakening doesn't do. It's his USB1 that's nuts and it turns an average awakening and sync into amazing ones. Unless I'm missing something.
