both are going to have similar supply issues with the biggest difference lying in temperature. they're both mRNA so they're sharing one of if not THE most difficult parts of the supply line, which is upscaling a new type of vaccine that's only been meant for lap work to global mass production. they're both screwed on this so ultimately, this won't really be a factor.

i mean Moderna should be easier just because it only needs normal refrigeration levels compared to at least a constant supply of dry ice. that'll enable transport to be MUCH easier every step of the way but just don't expect this to have that much of an impact compared to just making a constant supply.

Pfizer said they are probably fine at much higher temps but they played worst case scenario in their report.

But without continuously getting supply from both, its going to either take longer to get people vaccinated or well be supplementing with another vaccine instead, which will likely be worse (Id certainly rather have Pfizers than AstraZenecas).

I think they said they have enough doses for 20 million people basically over the first month. 20 million + the 10+ million already infected is a very sizable chunk to end the spread, especially when you figure about 50% of the population is going to refuse to take it anyways. In all honesty, having everyone take the same one probably is better, however. It is what it is.

Walmart pulled the PS5 from their website. This points to a potential restock.

They pulled Xbox also. The problem is Walmart is now openly selling them in store. So, I don't know how much I would expect the online restock. There is tons of people posting pictures of getting PS5s and Xboxes from Walmart over the past couple of days.

I believe he said a couple days after the election that he didn't see the point of the lawsuits or their potential to make a difference. It's not very surprising.

The one woman's claim did make sense as an issue, but the Republican representative destroyed her claim by pointing out the voter rolls would be off if that happened and they were not.

She is a very dramatic person. If she can find drama, she is there. Lol. She doesn't realize that but it's so her personality. She has worked for 4 months at this point and she has complained to management like 5 different times about various things already. There is always some drama going on with work lol.

That said. She just sent me this "People are saying there are bad things in it" regarding the vaccine. Who? Who is these people? She very often will never answer this and it is almost always her mother and sister. But, since she started working it is her co-workers a lot also. I mean, we live in an area that is strong in this regard. So it is hard to tell her otherwise because she probably does hear it all day. That girls poll of 95+% no wasn't surprising here.

COVID-19 has caused an increase of break-up/divorce. While a good portion of it was due to previous problems that was exasperated by the lock-down some of it was caused by the difference in opinion towards COVID both for themselves and towards handling their children.

Is there any way you can reach a compromise? Like even getting her to wear a mask in public and avoid touching her face or yourself until after she washes her hands will go a long way in reducing your risk. Ignoring the COVID part, being that dismissive of your feelings towards something you find important is a bit of an issue going forward.

She wears a mask at work and to go places if they require it. She just complains about it a lot. Her family and co-workers feed her nonsense all day though. It's hard to get through to her.

The other day I had to explain to her she was using white supremacist sources and Sandy Hook deniers as sources. She was just like "They say everyone is racists nowadays if you don't agree with them, so who cares what they say." I mean, she did have a point there but... It shows you the information being fed to her nonstop that I am up against. It's tough.

Yeah. It's a wrap for a lot of America. They are just ignorant and oblivious. My fiancee for example refuses to get a vaccine, refuses to follow any orders to not see people outside of our household, and complains about wearing masks every chance she gets. I have zero doubt she will get me killed right before I can get a vaccine. She doesn't care though and won't until someone in her family succumbs to it. And, unfortunately, without that happening she will point to it all being overblown and me being a scaredy-cat otherwise.

So, I mean, what can you do? I am not like Red. I don't wish tragedy on people to feel superior. It is frustrating though.
