I just read the whole Wikipedia article, the whole debacle started when someone got into a confrontation with him for some reason, he mistook Kyle for someone else, he chased Kyle, Kyle killed him after someone fired a warning shot into the air, other people chased him because they thought he was a spree shooter and he killed a couple of them when they tried to catch him.

In the best light Kyle was playing cop and ended up killing people who thought Kyle was shooting at them, which is to be expected from a 17 year old playing cop. Also, don't chase people with ar-15s.

I don't have a smoking gun yet, but I believe I'm close to uncovering the truth. I think to most of us, it's clear that Zeus is probably not a real person, but a constructed caricature created for entertainment. Because if he is a real person that's just sad. Why PO? Here's the evidence we've collected:

-We know PO is not above creating alter-ego identities to troll PotD (see: the famous Christine Kao incident in which he and nudojudo are the primarily suspects and accepted culprits).

-We know PO would not half-ass an attempt, so keeping an account hidden and accumulating karma for years before activating it is definitely likely.

-PO will often rush to defend Zeus despite usually staying out of "drama" (see: his post in this topic).

-Somewhat similar posting style where they seem to lack the ability to concisely summarize their points. Both seem of the mindset that longer posts gives the appearance of intelligence.

-Both claim users they disagree with are "troll alts" as if this somehow invalidates any statement or opinion shared from said "troll alt".

-Zeus began his rise shortly before Trump took off. For PO, who is known to hate politicians and political discussion, the possibility of a non-politician becoming elected could have gotten his loins moist, but he knew he'd need alter ego to express "controversial" political opinions if he didn't want to ruin the image of himself that he's cultivated here.

I think it's likely that if PO is behind Zeus, he's working in tandem with another user, likely either a Geek, former Geek, or a seemingly inactive user who was once PO's friend. This would allow them to flesh out Zeus's character more and construct minor false differences of opinion on pop culture and media to give the illusion of Zeus being a real person.

What accent? Seems to me most programs and movies that imitate British accents just go for the London accent. Cockney or the 'Queens English' come to mind. Sean Bean is more my accent. Not a shock when he's from my city.

The first time I realized I have an "American accent" was when I was reading the Alex Rider series as a kid (teen British spy who works for M16) and it described a character as having an American accent. Which in retrospect is a super lazy description because the U.S. has tons of regional accents and some of them vary pretty wildly from each other. I imagine the generic "American accent" as that fake mid-Atlantic accent that no one actually has but it's used in older movies and radio broadcasts.

The generic accent is the west coast accent.

I've heard of "Genwunners" but this is a new one lol. Gen 4 was fucking dope and Gen 5 had the best story and music.

I love Alola but the sequel games were pretty damn hollow. I'd say the new Gen 8 games are definitely where they lost their way -- first time I've been really disappointed. The game is way too easy, poorly balanced, Hop is just bootleg Hau, GMax is just a bootleg combination of Mega Evolution and Z-Moves, and some of these Pokemon designs are abominations (we're looking at you, Eiscue). Also, as an avid dinosaur lover, I was kind of bummed out when there were no new fossil 'mon in Alola. Then Gen 8 came out...Imagine my disappointment when we got what we did.
Pure garbage. People are redesigning that shitty fucking penguin and the disgusting fossil Pokemon and I don't blame them. Just seeing those fucking things in the game trigger me -- especially the goddamn Reddit-bot penguin. Oh my God, who designed that thing? (okay, obviously I have a huge axe to grind, here...)

Anyway, we know there'll be at least 12 gens because of the Fire-type starters all being based off of the Chinese zodiac.

On a side note, after Gen 7 my brother and I predicted that the next games would be either the UK or India. It turned out to be UK so now we're betting it's either going to be India or Australia. I think Australia would make a fucking awesome region. India will probably have the zodiac ox Fire-type starter and Australia would have the zodiac snake.

And now we wait and see if we're right...

Australia can't be a region. We already have giant spider Pokemon.
