| LeonhartFour 11/29/20 1:23:32 AM #123 | The whole thing is a mess, and there is no ideal solution that doesn't result in someone getting boned for circumstances beyond their control, even if they just choose to cancel the game outright. The NFL has made it clear that, for better or for worse, they want the outcome of every game decided on the field. That's the one and only thing they've been consistent on in all of this. I think they'd be better off just waiting a week or two and then coming back. It'd give the Steelers some much-needed rest, and nobody is really going to care if the Super Bowl is played in the middle of February rather than at the beginning. heck Valentine's Day is on a Sunday next year so just screw over every married man in America by playing the Super Bowl on February 14 while you're at it --- |
