A few minigames that made me want to tear my hair out. I really could've done without the material collection glitch. The original Rance 1 is super low-budget, archaic, has MS Paint graphics and is carried entirely by its writing and characters. They took the plot beats of this some 24 years later and made an actual modern RPG. With H scenes. The battle system is a casino chip thing where you "bet" any number of items with cooldowns to attack and defend each turn, and dungeon navigation is based on choosing cards. It's not meant to be that deep but still has some challenge to it.
