Not really. It really shows Snyder's main weakness if you ask me. Snyder just wants to show the cool stuff right away. His goal is to make his movies nothing but awesome at all times. Dial it up to 10 in the first scene and stay there the whole movie.

Things like building tension or pacing the action are foreign to him. So the action scenes in his Dawn of the Dead are great, but it doesn't have that sense of dread and anxiety that the original had. Snyder's is fun but not very scary.

They could so easily have just changed the location so that they could keep the timeline and still make sense. Or they could have just rebooted. As long as the game is fun who cares? But I think the bottom line is just that they can't find anything new and interesting to do.

The amount of harm and damage you could do with access to the ballots is insane. Only approved election officials who fully understand the consequences of their actions should be in the same room as the ballots.

And anyone who would purposefully violate that trust deserves to be charged with treason against the US

I mean I would hate it if they tarnished that show's good name by having episodes with contrived situations, unnatural dialogue, characters lacking depth, or lazy repeats of cliche jokes and plotlines.

I think it's the opposite. They now expect Trump to lose, so they're going to let the economy tank over the next few months. Then when Biden is sworn in and he starts pushing for a stimulus, they suddenly get really worried about the deficit again and start talking about how the Dems are wasting money.

-Get in their judges under the wire
-Ruin the country even more
-Blame it on the dems

That has been their strategy since the 2000s. It has worked for them, but I think this might be a turning point. I think resentment of Trump could carry the Democrats through the next few elections. And then the boomers will start dying in bigger numbers, and the younger generations who are more liberal and less white will start voting more and more. That's their death knell.

Bizarrely Republicans have made slight gains among young black and latino males but they're still a minority and don't begin to make up for the lower numbers elsewhere. Long term they are screwed if they don't find a way to be less radical and appeal more outside of their base.

The same reason they unironically refer to themselves as being "red pilled" as in taking the red pill in The Matrix when their philosophy is the exact opposite.
