Nathan Lane gives a pretty good try with his Looney Tunes ass acting and it's fun but Broaderick is like watching a high school play rehearsal. Dude is acting like he's reading from a script. This movie could have been great without Broaderick and had been adapted perfectly before. Dude is basically the embodiment of the entire Cat in the Hat movie in this role.
