The movie as released wasn't a half-finished gem that Whedon ruined. It was a half-finished turd that Whedon polished into a slightly different turd.

This. DC's laziness and impatience combined with Synder's ugly version of their universe made an absolutely wretched movie. Man of Steel needed an actual sequel where we can have moody Superman become real Superman. We needed a Batman movie to push him over the edge into Punisher-territory, not just going "lol, murder-bat am edgy and cool!" as an introduction.

I don't like Darkseid already, just knowing he exists by reputation, I'm not a fan. But I especially don't care about him being the true final boss of Syndercut Justice League because he's as an unimportant nobody as CGI Space Ogre Dude from the theatric release; just coming from another planet to be the villain of the day.

I literally had no idea who Thanos was, my response at the end of the Avengers was "Oh no, Big Purple Man was behind this the whole time?" Years of build up made him matter; editing the movie so he's on the ground fighting mid-way through the invasion would mean nothing.

There is absolutely zero justification for a price increase. The value of games has crashed so hard in the last decade, a complete version of the game is already roughly a hundred bucks, and that's assuming its worthwhile content and not just lootboxes and cosmetics.

Are talking good twists or Robot Chicken's moron Shyamalan who thinks everything he does is clever?

If we're talking good, then the Cleansing Hour is awesome. It's about a phony priest and his scam reality TV stream where he exorcises "possession" victims, until he winds up with a real demon possessing his manager's actress girlfriend. The whole movie keeps cutting to the stream's world-wide audience watching as everything goes to hell, people are dying, and the demon torments the "priest" to get him to confess that he's a phony to his fans. One of which is a rich kid who's dad is too busy with work calls and his mom is too self-centered to notice the screaming from his tablet and the shell-shocked look on his face. The mainstream news is relaying the stream as its viewer count skyrockets.

Then we get to the moment where they figure out who the demon is and manage to exorcise it, saving our heroes. And then one of the corpses gets up, tells them they've been played for fools, and reveals that it was Satan himself the whole time. And he casts some kind of spell on the camera still streaming to millions of people. Everyone watching it is possessed and goes on a killing spree; the little boy is the son of the President who kills his dad in the Oval Office.

Freaking awesome ending.

Steam has a ton of problems and needs a competitor. Epic is not that competitor. It offers nothing because they have the money to take games hostage, so they don't have to try and be better than Steam.

Isn't the Tomb Raider reboot supposed to be pretty bad with it? Long scene of killing a man is a huge, traumatic experience that Lara was forced into, followed by gunning down mooks for ten hours?

What the hell is a Three-Eyed Raven? Does anyone outside of the Stark kids know? He did jack all to prove his claim of powers to anyone outside of his family. Don't forget that there's zero reason for roughly three quarters of the kingdom to believe the White Walkers were a thing; even if everyone who fought saw him shooting lightning or commanding nature to fight.

Yeah, Bran has always been the canon king in the end, because Martin believes the only good king would be an inhuman robot, but in theory the books will give people a reason to believe he's a nigh-omniscient sage-wizard. The show gives us nothing. The show is too stupid to give the kingdom any reason to believe Jon is a Targeryon; nobody questions the word of his best friend and younger brother with unsubstantiated claims of magic.

End of the day, in no way do I argue Edmure should have been king for any reason. That would be just as unsatisfying and seemingly random as the show's selection of Bran. But he should warrant pity from the audience and not be hauled out for a joke. The morons of Westeros have more reason to disrespect Sansa and Yara for being women than Edmure's failings.

Edmure isn't a good choice but then their criteria is crap: having the right dad. So his claim was as good as anyone else's, nobody else stood and made a claim, and he's still a major lord of the kingdom. His peers could at least pretend to respect him, especially his niece.

He made a serious mistake, one that many lords or knights would make to prove themselves, and he's suffered for it. His family has been wiped out, his child threatened, he spent several years as a prisoner; Edmure should not be a goddamn joke. He's mediocre nobility.

Glad everyone listened to Tyrion, whose character arc was "he thinks he's smart when he's really an idiot" and picked Robot Boy for king. Who appoints the moron as vice-king as "punishment".

It's great that Edmure is the only one capable of standing up and saying "I'm a nobleman trained in statecraft, vote for me" and everyone, including his niece laughs at him.

Then she splits off from the kingdom because she now lusts for power and a crown of her own. And the faction that regularly tries to break away dosen't, and laughs at the idea of a democratic process when her people practice it. And the faction that begrudgingly joined the kingdom through marriage, and are culturally alien, not only has some random ruler but also ignores a chance for independence.

But guys, isn't funny that the mercenary clever enough to keep improving his lot in life is now a major lord and in charge of the treasury?

Or that the vizier university dropout now holds their highest office? And they wrote a title drop history that hilariously forgets to mention Tyiron? Former and present Hand of the King? Popular scapegoat for riots during his first term. The man convicted of murdering King Joffery? The man who killed his father--a most grevious crime in their culture--the Hand, one of the most powerful lords in recent history? Who served as Hand for the genocidal barbarian queen?

The only time I ever really played the original DOTA, because there were five different maps in circulation and nobody could be bothered to host the download, my team screamed at me for picking the wrong character out of...20(?) and rage quit.
