The cousins were on a fishing trip near Highway 105 near Moss Hill when they saw a little girl in trouble as they jumped into the water to try to save her, alongside the girl's 25 y/o father, Abel Castellanos Castellanos managed to save his daughter even though he ingested river water and had to be flown to Life Flight to a local Houston hospital for medical assistance But the 2 cousins immediately got into trouble themselves after entering as Alvarez jumpe din first but never came back up and Rodriguez diver in after but also failed to remerged as neither knew how to swim Erik Frausto, a friend said "Can you imagine, they didn't even know how to swim, they didn't even think, they just jumped in to try to help".. She doesn't wear prosthetics because she can do everything like getting dressed, eating, putting on makeup and even driving with her TOES She was born in Siberia with upper limb aplasia, a condition where a baby's arms do not form in the womb but is otherwise healthy and was adopted by an american couple at 2 years old.. With the help and support of the family, she's learned to do everything by her feet She's a law student who said "I use my legs to write and type. I use them to eat and i also cook alot with my feet. I have wonderful friends and a wonderful boyfriend who help me when i get in over my head." She doesn't know anything about her biological parents since it was a closed adoption but she would have faced a tough future in Russia with her disability as she might have been sent to an ASYLUM and the stigma would have been unbearable as she said it was better she was adopted and saved Her 46 y/o dad, Daniel is an accountant and 47 y/o mother, Jennifer is a musician They taught her that there were "no excuses" and they taught her how to play the cello without arms and it's all she knows how to do. Her defense team is hoping to overturn the murder conviction to negligent homicide, citing insufficient evidence She is currently serving 10 years in a Texas Prison after shooting dead Jean in his OWN apartment which she mistook for her own and claimed a long 15 hour shift confused her on which apartment to go into. During the trial she testified she went into the wrong floor and mistook his apartment for her own and shot him dead believing he was an intruder after he "forcibly" came at her and believed it was justified to use force.. She is still grieving the loss of her husband who left behind 5 children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends and has launched a scathing attack on these peoplein his OBITUARY It said "Family members believe David's death was needless. They blame his death and the deaths of other innocent people on Trump, Texas Gov.
