I sent some PMs to Kora and his alt the last week of November, but I don't think that he's been on for awhile, so I decided to go ahead and make a late topic for this. If you are reading this Kora, feel free to make your own topic or take over for me with this one.

For those new to Steam Secret Santa, if you would like to participate this year, please make sure to post a link to your Steam wishlist (make sure your account is public so we can see it). You can also provide supplementary info to help your secret santa such as PC/laptop specs, favorite games/genres, or anything else you feel like sharing.

Once the sign-up period ends, everyone will be randomly assigned a secret santa. You'll receive a PM (you can request a Discord DM if you would prefer that) with who you'll be giving a gift to and have until Christmas Day to send send them their gift(s). Please either respond to the PM or post in this topic when you have sent your gift so we know.

I have participated in each of the the previous six years, and I am heavily leaning toward doing this again. Since I would be doing the drawing and everything, I would know who my secret santa is. If that sucks the magic out of this for you, you can opt out of you potentially being my secret santa should I do decide to participate. There's no hard feelings there as I totally understand.

Also, not a requirement, but if you could post here once you've received your gift I would like love to catalog everything and send it to Kora since he liked to keep a record of it.

The recommended spending limit for this event will be $15 (Kora, a Canadian, never actually specified in previous years if he meant USD, so I won't either). This is just a recommendation. You are allowed to spend more or less.

Sign-ups are open from now until December 20th at 11:59 PM ET. A quick search showed me several leaks that showed the winter sale beginning on December 22nd, so assuming that is correct, I can get everything sent out via PM (or Discord DM upon request) here on the 21st and give people time before the sale to think of some potential gift ideas.

Please send out all gifts by December 25th. While most of us live in places where gifting isn't an issue, there was one year where multiple people had issues sending out gifts to their person (I had to be the middle man for someone living in Hong Kong to send out their gifts). Please let us know if someone has an issue this year sending out gifts, and I'm sure someone can step up to help.

I liked the game, but I can't say that I loved it. If the entire game was going down the rabbit hole of all the online forums and pages doing more basic tasks like you did in the first half or so, I think that would have been fantastic. However, toward the end, things just got exceedingly complicated and cumbersome to the point that I had to force myself to finish it. As a result, I am both very impressed and disappointed with the game but more importantly glad that I tried this. It had been on my radar for awhile, but I never took the plunge to buy it. Thanks Game Pass!
