I'd say more something like $20 base price and $20 expansions would be a better way to go. Though definitely a lot of them aren't worth $60 at launch.

ie, Give a base roster + a rotation of different characters every 1-2 weeks.

Then if you really like a non-base character, you can buy a $3 bundle of the character + Stage

These days fighting games are releasing with low content, bad online, and a smaller roster than the previous game at full price, but eventually start costing more than twice the initial 60 bucks to get all the characters

That's a bit weird. You know what I would like though? Legacy versions of Battlefield and Final Destination. Choose the stage skin for each based on previous Smash Bros. games. I liked Melee's Battlefield and Brawl's Final Destination (barring that weird lip of course) so I'd like to see those again.

lets add a super accurate, 1HKO enemy, who blends into the environment, and makes no indication that it appears until it starts firing (and you most likely are dead)

I beat Legendray outskirts without dying or skipping, and there was legit 16-20 snipers that popped up, some of which would pop up mid encounter.

2nd most evil level, after Regret
