I'm not talking about the camera or glitches; the treasure hunting levels sucked, the shooting levels sucked, the fishing levels sucked, whatever the fuck you call Amy's levels sucked and the hub world sucked. All of this was just filler to pad the game out. Even many of Sonic's levels were plagued by lame ass gimmicks, or were just plain poorly designed all around (Casinopolis, Ice Cap, Twinkle Park, Sky Deck, Lost World and Final Egg). Considering that there were funner levels (Emerald Coast, Windy Valley, Speed Highway and Red Mountain), this isn't a problem with the game's age; it's that these levels just fucking sucked. Honestly, you can drop that stupid ass "The game aged poorly, but it was amazing back then!" logic. Heard that enough from Sonic apologists. The game was never great. --- FAM FOREVER. |
