The part that annoys me is that it was actioned in a way to make sure I cant appeal it.

I can say with 100% confidence that your moderation wouldn't get overturned anyways. The queue is how we handle moderations and you tagging a mod into a thread to try to get them to moderate posts you don't like is bypassing the queue.

I love how Alpha just comes in to say some stupid shit that's contrary to all basic logic and then he just dips out. Probably planning the next dumb thing to rile people up.

I'm imagining "You have to mark adjacent posts and put a comment in to draw attention to the disruptive deleted messages, but then the marked post will be modded and you can be modded for abusing the marking system".

I had to run errands. I've posted many times in this thread, though not as many as the people who have been trying to make deleting your non-rule breaking post moddable for 3 days straight.

It's already been explained numerous times but of course it must be the people who were trained to moderate the site that are wrong.

Youve already been told to mark surrounding messages and leave notes if you want to mark deleted messages. Pinging a moderator into a thread to delete posts will generally get you moderated for trying to bypass the mark system (except in extreme cases where theres extremely offensive content that needs to be gone ASAP).

It will never not happen. I just think its funny that spike insists I do nothing when Im the guy whos most likely to come in and clarify the rules. Im actually one of the most active moderators. I actually got a good impression of him from the DQ11 board so its a little disheartening for him to accuse me of such things.

Anyways people will always disagree with the rules, because they think they shouldnt get modded, or that posts they dont like should be taken care of; theres some legit cases too. Its not like I agree with every rule here either but freaking out because people deleted posts in a thread thats practically begging CE to do so (if you didnt think people would try to defy the topic title then you havent been on CE for long) is just a tad bit of an overreaction.

Also I understand the the ToU doesnt give guidance on a lot of stuff. Its part of the reason why Ive taken it upon myself to clarify on stuff for your benefit. Even in its older expanded form it obviously couldnt explain everything. Btw, if it wasnt obvious the old moderation reasons are still in the ToU, theyre just rolled into the Other Issues section and you report them under the None of the above option. Its important to leave coherent notes that explain why something was marked. It gives us more information to work with.

I mean I could just say nothing in the future. Is that what you want? I post to try to provide transparency (which a lot of people complain about, the lack of that) and you never seem to be happy with what I have to say.

Unless theres a pattern of the people who did it here consistently doing it theres nothing to be done here. Its just baiting CE into doing their jokes. Itd be different if a lot more people were doing it in this thread as well.

Btw just so you know, the minimum standard for trolling is definitely higher than I dont like this thing so its trolling.

Sooner or later the mods will actually care and do something about it.

Deleting your post isnt against the rules. So idk what you expect us to do lol. If someone makes a moddable post and deletes it, then you can mark an adjacent post in the thread and explain that a deleted post (listing the post number in your mark notes) is moddable.
