| Punnyz 11/06/20 1:14:13 PM #45 | I was actually already really close to ending the chapter than I had realized we established that Ms Meele was able to speak in Borginian and handled all of the paper work from there we discovered that the Agent was still alive before the layover in Zheng Fa and he took a picture with his phone showing that the fake statue wasn't loaded yet (or that the original was missing) and thats when she killed him. She used some Borginian cloth to clean up the blood because she knew the cargo was going to be unloaded and couldn't be tracked so easily We got her! If I was Edgeworth I would've been like, let us celebrate with Dinner, Ms Teneiro so we start the next chapter with a kidnapping, Edgeworth uses the new suitcase he acquired to carry the money He gets kidnapped himself and then a plucky comic relief chick, Kay, joins the fray! She claims to be the new Yatagarasu but promptly gets stuck along with edgeworth. We find our way out and run into Agent Lang. Complete with his own theme song! Hes one of few people in the world that gets under Edgeworth's skin thats where I'm at! I smell recurring characters. but man, 2 cases in? That took awhile to establish --- |

| Punnyz 11/06/20 10:22:54 AM #202 | Theres some mechanics I don't think you ran into I think you got the basics of what Brave and Faith do but to go a step further, in battle, if you lower someone's brave below 10, they literally become a chicken. The funny thing is, this is probably a cosmetic thing to show how cowardly they've become, but its weird thinking about that when theres actual spells that turn people into frogs around as well. So it might be either way lol While in chicken mode They will run around the battle field without your input, and without fighting, and each turn they gain 1 brave back until they have 10, then they turn back to a normal unit and you can use them again. This is why Deep Dungeon becomes MORE of a chore. You WANT the best items, so at some point you will start having to baby a unit and decrease their brave, and they will inevitably turn into a chicken and you will have to wait until they hit 10 brave again. Thats a 90% chance of getting the good item on the item tile at that point Beowulf is synonomous with chickens because hes the best way to decrease brave, I think he has an attack that takes like 30 brave away. I think Oracles do like 3-10? I know at that point you may as well just be attacking them but its fun turning them into chickens While this drastic decrease of brave is only for the battle it happens in and will go to "normal" afterwards, each time your unit's brave or faith takes a hit OR gets increased, it will lower or increase 1 point permanently respectively. This is ANOTHER thing I will get into right now if your unit has too low base brave, I think below 30? They will make a comment in the Unit Menu. I think theres a few different ones but yea, its weird when your generics start talking to you. They're scared and want to leave. If you go into one more battle and don't perma increase their brave, they WILL PERMANENTLY GO AWOL and you lose them forever. The only ones exempt from this are Ramza and Guests. This can even happen to Agrias and Orlandu. I mentioned I used Rafa for the DD, but one time I actually almost made her run off because her base Brave is so low, I made it take too many hits lol This also happens with Faith, But in reverse! If their Faith is Over 90, then they will question their position in all of this violence and then want to leave to go roam the earth. --- |

Mustadio also speaks if you bring both of them While there are obviously exceptions here and there, for the most part, since its an open ended game and those Units can perma die, I guess they didn't want to bother coding the ability to check to see if those characters would be there or not and give them varying dialog I never used Meliadoul and I think SHE has one scene where she talks after she joins. I will at least mention, the PSP version gives Agrias one more scene, but it has nothing to do with anything and its more of an easter egg since its borderline absurd to see it. | Punnyz 11/05/20 11:49:14 AM #182 | I'm gonna spoil the Deep Dungeon for you here but I'll let you know right now, DD doesn't have any story shit I think its 10 levels of maps and the only way to progress is to have a Unit land on a specific tile. They'll be like "I think I see a way in" or something DD is also worth exploring because you get a bunch of rare items, but only on the battlefield with Move Find Item. But the problem is that theres two items per tile. Most maps they're either the same item or inconsequential items, but here (and that Robot Temple) theres a chance to get a crappier item Move Find Item's success is reliant on your brave count, if your brave is 15, then you have an 85% chance to get the good item. So having an Oracle or Beowulf to cripple a unit's brave is a necessity. I used Rafa for this since she has already super low Brave Its the only place where you can get the Strongest Sword in the game, the Chaos Blade. I THINK You can get the other Knight Swords too? (Or am I just thinking about the Ninja Method?), but if you learned how to weapon dupe, then thats not a good reason to go down there JUSt for that Once you get to the last level, some random Merlin looking mother fucker comes out of his cave and is like You god damn whippersnappers wtf you doin, and pulls out a BRAND NEW made up Zodiac Stone. He turns into a Ninja Turtle lookin mother fucker. Hes unique because he also has a super special never seen before Summon too. If you bring in a Summoner and your unit gets hit by it, your Summoner learns this. Not only does the game not tell you this anywhere, but its the only place you can learn it, you only fight him once too. FOR SOME REASON, again, never explained, a monster called Byblos is your ally during this fight. Byblos is a monster in FFV I think? He also joins you after the battle. Its a mystery You get a small paragraph explaining a little bit of the Wizard's backstory in your menu afterwards but its really nothing much --- |

| Punnyz 11/05/20 1:48:50 AM #37 | Franziska shows up and surprisingly gives me some leniency by letting me investigate but shes dead set on proving I'm the murderer Even though the PW crew is a small group of "friends", its been established and proven that they won't take it easy on each other when they are doing their jobs but Franny is just...weird about this. She wants to get "even" with Edgeworth and is gung ho about the whole thing. I can't put my finger on it but I feel this is some how out of character. ESPECIALLY since we later find out that the victim was an interpol agent. thats fucking huge. but Franny REALLY thinks Edgeworth would do something like that. I felt like it was a test but nothing that implies that ever comes up. but yea, thats what we find out, hes an agent, that makes this murder huge.We established that the body was transported with a suitcase, but we also find out that Rhoda was telling a few fibs. She went against orders and was sneaking around. We find out she was padding her numbers by buying her own suitcases but this left her open for her keycard to get stolen and becoming the prime suspect I sorta got stuck on this section, Edgeworth is proving that there was no murder weapon, the victime was tossed off the top of the stairs. I had to establish the statue was brought in from the layover at Zheng Fa. Its on me though, my brain went dead and I reviewed my evidence like 20 times. I just simply didn't put 2 and 2 together, I was thrown into that situation so suddenly I guess I wasn't ready for it but we establish that the statue is a fake and is the prime evidence for the smuggling ring that the Agent and Franny were investigating this also means the murder already happened BEFORE the layover which doesn't stack up against Ms Meele's testimony about the Agent being in his seat when they took off again. thats where we're at I have to admit, this went alot smoother and faster than anything so far (except that part I got stuck, but again,t hats me) I REALLY wanted to keep going lolj. I think under normal circumstances I would've just put it in sleep mode on my DS and picked it up after I tuck myself in bed but because I was streaming, I had to stop entirely. And I just felt that was too weird cause 1, nobody talks like that. but 2, hes clearly reminding THE PLAYER of his backstory but this is the 5th game in the series? ( didn't know this was After Apollo, otherwise I would've done THAT instead) I feel like nobody would start here, we all know this but anywho, mistaken for murderer AGAIN hes becoming worse than Maya now after some convincing and CROSS EXAMINING, you persuade the Flight Attendant you can't be the killer, and you start investigating again, I became very irritated we found some snobby ugly bastard who enjoys art and we cross examined him too He mentioned something about me being the only one there. I had discovered some evidence of footprints leaving the elevator, establishing the murderer was in the elevator with the victim so I present it, its wrong. I had to press some unassuming dialog to reveal MORE dialog ALSO mentioning there couldn't have been anyone else there. THAT was it ....god man >_> then later on we established that the suitcases in the gift shop are suspicious, so we had to examine them. Miles says something like WHATS DIFFERENT BETWEEN THESE TWO so I was playing a game from a 1st grader coloring book, I found the 2nd one had wheel stoppers. I clicked that. It wasn't right. I stared at this 1st grader coloring book game for 10 minutes, and I had to click the wheels WITHOUT the stoppers. GOD MAN FUCK COME ON we established the body was moved via suitcase before the captain took me off the case. When we stopped, WE RUN INTO FRANZISKA VON KARMA "I can't believe someone from our household is a criminal" bitch your dad, fuck you so Dick gumshoe is how supervising me. I stopped here. i think i'll stop at every chapter So yea, this case is ALOT easier than the other one (so far) I feel like this one should've been the tutorial, because all of the crossexamining sections are super basic, especially Miss Rhoda in the beginning. at least it seems easier at first Logic was alot smoother too. I got a game over in the first case. Here, only the mistakes I mentioned earlier, but thats because of some ol bullshit this game...can be a bit frustrating, but its Still AA, its keeping me come back for more and afterall, the OT was like this too at times. I remember in 2-4, You had to point out what was up with a photo of Adrian Andrews in the samurai outfit, (you didn't know it was her at the time) I saw the pants were too long, i pointed it out, Franziska gave me a OHKO penalty and I got a game over. YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO POINT AT HER FOOT. GOD but the thing is, it seems to be happening more often here. Ughhh GOG told me to move on, but I have to voice my feelings on the matter --- |
