Those types of polls rarely rank the series correctly. For example, Galaxy is essentially Galaxy 2's worst opponent.

i seriously doubt galaxy 2 would beat galaxy. it wouldn't be close either

Again, there's no such thing as a pecking order for series. We saw SSBU SFF LBW even though Zelda's the bigger Nintendo series.

LBW is also a top down handheld game. those never drew a dime compared to the 3d ones

if the playstation community decides to rally for god of war then it's over for the witcher

isn't mass effect 3 considered a joke game? i was expecting 80% for the witcher 3. God of war has being more impressive so far

Nostalgia/"it's not the same" is a very strong factor.

HG/SS is considered by many as the pinnacle of the series. Then again franchise is not as strong because of SW/SH and the Dexit debacle

Might be a stretch, but anyone think non-Fire Emblem Nintendo fans might be anti-voting Fire Emblem because of Smash? Just anecdotally, my Smash friends absolutely loathe Fire Emblem because of their representation in Smash and the Byleth announcement got them all hating Three Houses despite not knowing much about Fire Emblem at all.

Sounds about right. Half the smash board hates fire emblem and Ori is also on Switch and just had a new game released last month.
