Nah, twitter warriors make up a pretty significant part of the anime fanbase even if they try to deny it. A lot of controversies in anime come from obscure anime even regular casual anime fans dont know about which no one would be aware of if they didnt watch anime. The whole colored hair thing is associated with anime. I mean, one of the major appeal of anime is how it breaks gender norms which is something they love. The over-sexualization in a lot of shows is the main thing that turns them off and will have them trashing the medium but mark my words there is definitely a bigger ratio of them in anime fanbases than in western animation fanbases.

Although this trend of actors removing themselves from voicing other races thing seems to be more on the actors themselves and not because it was requested of them. I havent really seen anyone request this before they did it.

With anime, where they go with non-union VAs for the most part, the casting directors just need to give more opportunities to PoC, especially black VAs since we at least have some asian and hispanic VAs getting a bunch of opportunities, I definitely can't think of any black VAs in anime or jrpgs

Objectively, extreme heat is better than extreme cold.

Extreme heat is extremely uncomfortable. Extreme cold is literally painful.

No amount of lairs will keep you comfortable on an extreme cold and windy day. Drink plenty of water and you can slog it out a terrible hot/humid day.

And if you work an office job, safer conditions for your commute on a hot day than one where there's snow or ice on the ground. Then you hit the office and it doesn't matter anyways.

Youre not using a fair comparison. If youre using weathers so cold that its painful and dangerous then the fair comparison would be something like 110 degrees where you could easily get heat stroke.

What's so wrong with death by suicide, provided it's not from mental illness? When I was a teen home alone I called the cops because I thought someone was breaking into our house because they kept fiddling with the lock for over 20 minutes and looking around outside. Turns out it was our landlord (who my parents never showed me or told me they were coming) and theyd forgotten their keys.
One of the most embarrassing moments of my life but I do blame my parents for never telling me about them.

If these things get a strong foothold in the states they will decimate the honeybee population. Japanese honeybees have a defense mechanism against them, but our native bees don't and are completely defenseless.

The only insects that scare me are wasps and hornets, having something like this land on me could make me pass out in shock.
