My typical modding experience is I get harassed by someone, usually them posting utterly disgusting and offensive lies. I respond and call them a troll or a liar, I get warned or worse and they get away with posting countless offensive posts about me. I block them and another weirdo or alt of their's starts up.

At this point I'm certain my marked messages get instantly ignored

The high point of this style of movie/TV isn't even Japanese. It's a Hong Kong movie from the 70s called Super Inframan and it's one of the best things I've ever seen

Just came naturally once my daughter was born. I hadn't had any real experience with kids save for a brief work placement at a nursery but it all felt really easy and comfortable for me. I'm great at getting my niece to settle as well although don't see her often. Bonded instantly with my fiance's daughter and I think I do a good job looking after her, although she was 7 when I met her.

I got reminded of my abusive ex the other day and it made me really uncomfortable and I had a nightmare about her that night. I was trying to find something someone had said to me in an irc chat years ago, I have some logs from then and the first thing I saw in the logs was myself quoting a text she'd sent me about how I'd ruined her life and then another one 5 minutes later saying she wanted us to be happy together.

Anyway I've been playing Animal Crossing all day and I think I'll watch some movies soon, got three Lucio Fulci horrors I want to watch one after the other

They're absolutely solid films and people who don't appreciate them are generally missing the point being made. All the PWSA directed films are great, especially the first and final film.

I wouldnt have minded the last movie if not for the editing. I honestly feel the movie needs a seizure warning at the start, as the constant quick cuts throughout the whole thing will give even the most well adjusted person can get one from that travesty. I honestly would like the movie itself if it was decently made, but as is its in the running for worst movie ever made.

The editing is 100% intentional and meant to be disorientating.

One thing that annoyed me was people upset with how Joker portrayed mental illness. I have a mental illness, I've struggled with it for 20 years, and I personally thought it did a great job of presenting it. No having a mental illness doesn't mean you will become evil, but shit can happen if your overworked therapist never cares, then she is force to drop you because society doesn't deem her job necessary, and then they take away your meds as your delusions start to take over. It wasn't about mental illness creating a monster, it was about society and their ignorant view of mental illness being something taboo that shouldn't be discussed.

I'm in the same boat as you with being mentally ill for most of my life, yet the way it depicted mental illness and spoke about it came off as offensive and insincere for me. Just looking at the director and writer's comments on society and the kind of films he usually makes made it hard for me to accept it as anything well meaning. Just more exploitation of the mentally ill by Hollywood.

It's really not a big deal being stuck inside for a couple of weeks to a few months. Try doing it for over a year when everyone else is still living normally, that's hard.

Uhh sometimes I fry a tin of baked beans in a wok with a load of soy sauce and chopped chillis or chilli flakes then toss in some noodles.

I like that the intro narration has been changing every so often, I thought it would stay the same.
