Do you think I could force spawn flies on a Mystery Island if I took my trash with me and dumped it while also clearing the island like I wanted to farm tarantulas?

Cause if I got the right island the pool would just be wharf roaches/tiger beetles/tarantulas and then I'd add flies into it.

Doing the house thing at night isn't even working >_>

Ive got an extra clock DIY but not the rug, im not sure if just having the items is enough or if you need to craft them yourself but Ill give you the clock DIY and if you dont get the Rug by tomorrow hit me up and I can craft you the Rug if you got the mats for it so that you can cover that base just in case. Ill take the cutting board sure

I barely met Celeste (Blathers' little sister) tonight and she gave me the star wand DIY recipe. Haven't had any meteor showers that I'm aware of.

Generally the first time she shows up youll get a shower, so just keep an eye out. Every time you talk to her from now on, even on other peoples islands, shell give you a random DIY card from her pool of recipes, its all wands and space/zodiac themed items that take star fragments to make

I just wanted to say I agree with your take on turnips towards the end of the last topic. I also dont think you should be able to sell turnips on other islands - kinda defies the whole point.

Thank you! Drives me crazy lol. Like, the turnip calculator is one thing. But at least its not 100% perfect/guaranteed. Island hopping around until you can make a 400% profit is just kinda grimy lol.

2. Do all fish/bugs actually have a second silly phrase when you catch them? I caught a Squid and it said something about not actually saying "bloop" but the phrase I've always seen is "I had an inkling I might!"?

That basically sounds like the upper limit per round so you're probably in good shape. Sounds like most people just want to hit 130 points so they get all the furniture + bronze trophy and give zero shits about silver and gold lol.

10 fish is about 12 points. Having 8 people catch 10 is 96. 4 runs should get everybody the gold trophy

only took ~65-70 min to get to 158 points without using any bait, definitely just gonna save my bait stock for rare fish hunting and go for the gold with no bait

just tested this and it doesnt work, aside from fucking with the camera if you dont have someone to move the other player around, 4 fish gave 6 points, same as solo. All players have to be catching fish for this to work

ayyy, got my 300 points, only took about 2.5h total with no bait, I wanted an extra anchor statue from the rewards but ended up with like 4 extra rugs and 3 extra umbrellas -_-

Is the 300 towards the trophy accumulative or is that on top of all the other points you spend on the tourney prizes?
