Plenty of legal ways to pay for a copy of Super Mario Bros. that directly lead to money in Nintendo's pocket.

What difference does it make to Nintendo if you pay $50 for a rare SNES game from your local game store or just pirate it? Neither action results in a "lost sale" as far as Nintendo is concerned. They offer no way for you to directly purchase it from them.

The easiest way to defeat piracy is with convenience of legal means. If I can buy a digital copy of something, I'll do that every time over pirating it. Sure, you still get the occasional entitled brat who thinks they deserve to have things for free just because, but most people prefer the legal way.

Yeah, but the owner of the IP should still have soverignty over it. It's stupod to not give us any legal way to purchase old games but still get mad about roms (especially considering that's just passing up free money), but ultimately it's their right to be stupid with their IP.

It's the same mindset if you won the lottery. I made a topic about it months ago. If I won over 5 million I wouldnt retire. I'd start a business and hire people. I wouldn't stay at home and stuff.

I actually have lots of stuff I want to do but don't have time for, so retirement sounds like a dream come true to me.

I could improve computer architecture and make video games, but of course ten hours a day are dedicated to sitting in a stupid cubicle and/or transport to cubicle and/or mandatory unpaid break hour. Or rather, my basement right now.

V is pretty skippable.

I do love Gilgamesh and several of the bosses were pretty creative, but the famous job system isn't really all that special (was good but not enough to carry the game) and the story is among the worst in the series. Plus awful villain and WTF final boss.

But hey, if you wanna give it a go, it's not like it's a bad game.

I actually did hijack my logger for debugging purposes since it was the only solution I could come up with.

Of course now I have to check a log file but it beats just not being able to do it lol.
