I do know this: I utterly despised yard work and shoveling snow when I was a kid, and it definitely led to some back problems for me. Not wanting to deal with maintenance like that was always something I wanted as a kid. Now Im living in an apartment and Im LOVING not having to deal with that shit. --- These pretzels are making me thirsty!

I have worked 5 days a week in the past and after 1 month knew it was not for me, but 4 days a week of work ?, that is my sweet spot for how much time to spend at work. This is why you need to have a career or job you enjoy, not too much time at work, and enough time to enjoy life outside of work. Unfortunately, not everyone gets to do that. Because of a few different circumstances (some my fault, some not) I wasnt really able to pick and choose a career, and Im stuck working some shit retail job right now, and cant really afford to not work six days a week. Im (hopefully) graduating college at the end of the year but even then.. with things the way they are right now, who knows how easy itll be to get a new job? And even then, Im too old to be job-bouncing. I have to make something count but I dont even know what Id like to do --- These pretzels are making me thirsty!

People said Id get so booored and wouldnt wait to be able to come back to work. They couldnt have been more wrong. I loved every minute of it. Getting to wake up and not have to rush to eat / shower / whatever, not having to deal with children in adult bodies (aka customers), not having to deal with obnoxious bosses, not having to break my back. Of course, its because of work that that happened to me in the first place, so maybe that soured work for me a bit, but I didnt miss it at all. --- These pretzels are making me thirsty!

Tools are essential, but they can still replace you with other tools. They don't give a fuck about us. This disaster should flip the entire world upside down and lead to widespread changes across every aspect of society, but instead we'll probably just forget about everything and go back to "normal". This right here. They gave us $2 an hour raises while this is going on, which comes out to like an extra 80 bucks for me.
