Yeah man, its exciting seeing that green start to pop out of the soil. Plus it makes you go outside more which I probably wasnt doing enough to begin with and got me into all sorts of other DIY stuff which once you complete feels like an accomplishment. Like a real one, not just beating a game or finishing a book or season of tv series.

I say just start off with something small. next time you buy a citrus fruit just keep the seeds, rinse them off. Peel the outter shelf. wrap them in a paper towel. spray it down and put it in a zip lock bag.

After a few days it will start to sprout then just get a small pot with some dirt. make a small hole, put one of the sprouted seeds, cover. water then put a clear plastic bag over it untill is starts to grow. Keep near a window with plenty of light.

You know, we have a garden out back for growing potatoes, corn, peppers, etc.. I might have to plant something there sometime, myself, :)

About what? Me being gender fluid (which I believe is the right term for what I am) and wearing girl clothes and stuff? She's super supportive about it. She's known for a while now and she helps me buy clothes without feeling awkward.

She streams all kinds of stuff, so far she's done full playthroughs of Control, Close to the Sun, and Prey (I think she finished it, she might have a bit left to finish) and she has played some Fallout 76, Dark Souls, Warzone, and Apex with me and some of her other friends. She actually just got her affiliate status Thursday so that's pretty awesome. I've been streaming a bit too but to be honest, I don't really have the personality for it, I just figure that if I'm playing games all the time, I might as well stream it.

D'aww, that's great! You better always treat her as nicely as possible, because she sounds like a great lady, <3 . I doubt all wives (or even husbands) would be as accepting, so you're blessed by having her with you.

Depression is just the worst. At least the antidepressants help a bit, but wish there was something we could do to help you with it. My wife suffers through depression as well, though it's definitely gotten better since she started streaming, and I used to suffer from it as well.

My mom would say that gardening definitely helps her with it, so might be worth a shot.

True, true. Honestly the growing back part is the biggest reason I haven't shaved my arms or legs, the upkeep is just annoying and I'm kinda lazy.

I'm not sure about for when you directly wake up, but getting up and doing some light exercises could help get your juices flowing a little more in the morning, I think. It would certainly be more helpful than remaining mostly inert, imo.

Maybe someday I will. It's not really a big deal to me either way. Besides I have facial hair too and for the time being I like it when I'm not feeling feminine, which is a bit more often. But I dunno. Maybe I should shave everything sometime and just see how it is.

are you still struggling with depression and stuff? Cos something that I think you should try is gradening. I know its lame and i thought so too before i tried. Gives you a bit of a reason to go outside a little bit and its nice to see somethign you planted grow. Cant explain the feeling but its a good one.

Have you ever tried planting anything before or growing from seed? Even one plant would be enough. You dont even need to start off with anything big or crazy. Literally just try any seed, even from a lemon or something you bought from the store.

Yeah, I am, .__. . My antidepressants help me have a better grip on it than I used to have, but... there are times where it gets so bad that I just can't do anything to avoid the torment. In general, I would still prefer to be dead than be alive, but considering that suicide isn't an option, I still continue forward.

Actually, though. I have toyed with the idea of planting stuff, but i've never actually gone through with it. It actually does help you?

I don't mind answering this question (so please don't be offended by me saying this), but it feels like this question gets asked pretty much every time I make an AMA, lol. To actually answer it, though... I closed my main account last year (which was MorningRose, and zeroflamecutter prior to me getting the name change for it), but my alternate accounts (that I have, but don't really use) are fine.

To answer your other question... honestly, I don't really know how I feel about that subject. I guess I lean more towards having dysphoria makes it more "valid" if I REALLY had to give my thoughts on the matter, but really, I don't think it matters. I think that If someone is happier living a certain way than they would otherwise be and they aren't hurting anyone, it's not worth questioning any further... all I ask is that you (not you in particular, of course) not be the sort of person who is trans and then proceeds to get angry at anyone misgenders you IRL if you're not making any effort to show that you're serious about trans. If you're not making any effort to be who you're claiming to be in either appearance or even personality (like if a MtF was acting like a stereotypical cis guy, for example), I would find it hard to blame anybody who may not take you as seriously.

Wow. I'm a big Zelda fan and I don't think I've done that many multiple playthroughs for each game altogether. I've yet to play Breath of the Wild though.
Though I'm not interested in Tri Force Heroes.

To be fair, Dark Souls is a series that has a ton of different ways you can play through the games. It could be by builds relegated to certain methods of combat (like mostly sorcery/pyromancy/miracles/hexes, mostly heavy weapons and armor, lighter armor and weapons, etc.), cosplay builds, or even just challenge builds. It's harder to play a series like Zelda in that regard, you know? There's not a lot of variation there in the types of things that you can do, I feel.

Nah, this one is a bit easier. I'm gonna have to go with Braixen or Meloetta, >.<

Fair enough, the way that you went from talking about how into the Red Dead games you are to saying that you can't relate to the FF15 story just made it seem (in my head) like the old cowboy outlaw life was something that you strongly related to for some reason, so it made me curious. The old western setting being strangely under-utilized in gaming definitely makes a lot of sense on it's own, going from one medieval setting to another game after game can get somewhat tedious for me. Mostly it's medieval kind of settings with the odd futuristic setting to break it up.

Now I'm curious what you're referring to about the anti-woman thing, I don't recall anything about that from when the game came out. I'll have to see if I can find something about it later. Not that it would be surprising or anything, unfortunately.

Creativity seems to be somewhat bankrupt these days, I think. I like fantasy and futuristic settings, but seeing the same things all the time does make others of its type have a harder time standing out, no matter how good it may be. Doing something different (like Red Dead does) has a chance of appealing to people who WANT something different, and I do enjoy seeing different things out there. Variety is the spice of life, as the saying goes.

Yeah, it was most likely Xillia. That game is ok, but it lacks the overworld and actual dungeons plus the story is just not all there.

I might give another one a shot sometime, then. It probably won't be anytime soon, but I will keep an open mind about it in the future, :)

Why do you think that you find being an old western cowboy outlaw to be something that you relate to/tie yourself to so easily/much compared to something like being one of the FF15 bros?

I didn't say that I had to find something relatable to enjoy it, :P . I do prefer that they are relatable, but it looking/being interesting for me is another potential way to grab my attention.

With that being said, Red Dead (both 1 and 2) fall more into the interesting category. I'm not usually into westerns at all, but there are very few games based on them out there, and a game focused on the west instantly becomes pretty unique because of that. I find the characters and story particularly gripping, and the gameplay is more than satisfactory to me... there's generally a lot to do and see, and its beautiful and well-crafted world is worth exploring every inch of.

The "bro" thing seems to be the meat of XV's content, and like I said, that just isn't something that I relate with. I'm not a guy and i'm not particularly interested in watching guys be "bros", either... I also read a quote from the director (producer? It was someone important to the game's development) that seemed to be against women, so that's another thing that pushed me away from it. I preferred the greater equality (in terms of focus) of the earlier games, honestly.

How is RDR2 online?

I installed the game, got through the first part to where it opened up... stopped playing, and eventually deleted it.

I'd only recommend it to someone who is Red Dead addict, honestly. I've had a history of fitting that role, so...

The amounts of grinding you need to level up your character and role levels is unreal, and everything is WAY too expensive. The prices for absolutely everything is higher than what they were in single player, and the amount of money you make is decreased for pretty much everything, too... you can get by without doing the microtransactions, but the game is as grindy as it is BECAUSE they wanted to encourage you to take the "easy" way out by giving them extra money. In other words, prepare to spend a LOT of time on online if you don't have deep enough pockets to give them extra money at every point they can take it.

All of that doesn't even account for how terribly glitchy the game itself is, the frequent disconnects, and the extremely hostile playerbase. You could be doing something as innocuous as fishing in a pond and people will still kill you just to troll you or get a chuckle out of it... sometimes you can't even go to a town because of the other players killing the NPCs there or just killing each other.

It's basically an exercise in tedium, really.

Final Fantasy Tactics would probably be my answer, but it's more of a tactical RPG... Any of the Dark Souls games could be an answer (II in particular is my favorite, though), but they're more of the action variety than the traditional variety. In terms of traditional JRPGs... Final Fantasy VII, I guess? Then again, I do like the remake pretty well, too...

I just have an unhealthy relationship with gaming and I know if I get into it, it sparks those habits even more. I had it installed taking up half my hard drive for like 2 months specifically for that purpose tho. Then I noticed you stopped playing so I finally deleted it.

Because I ran out of stuff to do, x.x . I finished all of the roles (Collector, Trader, Bounty Hunter, Moonshiner) and bought most of the clothes/guns I wanted, got my most wanted horses (including the black arabian) and I even customized my gear quite a bit... but if I had someone to play with, it would be more interesting than having to play solo all of the time, you know? I could help you (or someone else) do stuff and get your character more established because mine is already fleshed out.

Because of anxiety, x.x . If they're too fast I usually end up feeling overwhelmed and end up desperate to feel like someone is paying attention to me and to feel like i'm not a piece of the backdrop... and then it usually ends with me bailing completely and then shrinking back into my own world.

On the other hand, servers that are too small aren't exactly exciting, though... if there's nothing going on it's harder to find someone to actually talk to.

I tried being your friend, Catboy. I gave you several chances, and you stomped on them each and every time... I tried giving you advice, and I even gave up several hours of sleep on occasion to try to help you. You never listened or attempted to do things differently, and here were are over a year into the future... you're still doing the same exact things that you always have. You aren't making any effort, no matter how much you may try to convince yourself that are. If you'd actually try, I wouldn't be thinking so poorly of you right now, and I think that would go for a good number of other people, too.
