I could tell it was a well made game, but it wasn't the SRPG I was hoping for. I guess I just need my turn-based strategy games to have proper exp. and level mechanics for me to really get into them. Yeah there's the skill learning, but the skill points appeared to be limited and more or less based on story progression. Good game, but just wasn't for me.

Are you guys keeping the new whites that your white patches spawn? Because some of those whites will have bad genes that can't make purple or blue. You should always get rid of them.

My advice for people doing the long complicated methods of blue rose breeding is to still grow a patch of the simple hybrid reds on the side. It can take sooo long for the roses to cooperate to finish all the steps, that it's entirely possible to get lucky and get the blue rose from the simple hybrid reds before then. Citation: i got a blue rose from my hybrid reds before i'd even successfully tested the purple roses

I'm just waiting on the purple windflowers, and then I'll have them all. I got a big patch of hybrid reds going now, plus a few blues spawned from them (so hopefully at least two of them will be the good ones that have the 25% chance of spawning purple).

Pretty sure Pincurchin's destined legacy is to be the new most forgotten Pokemon. Even though Hop uses one, I don't think that's gonna help it. It's still so completely unremarkable and is only available from random grass encounters (5%) in a late game area (or slim chance of seeing it in a raid, I guess), so you'll never see it wandering the fields like most other Gen VIII Pokemon.

It's just low odds. At the point you become best friends with a villager, it's only a 6% chance of them gifting you their photo. And even when friendship maxes out (best friend status isn't actually the max), it only raises up to 10%.

We had plans for Disney World in April, and while flying back we were going to detour up to Seattle to see my mom who is doing poorly health-wise. And besides that there surely would've been at least two impromptu weekend trips to Vegas already. So much for all of that.

Just had a weird occurrence where my friend was over, and his connection cut out so he quietly left (and then a minute later my connection died). But the weird thing is it still saved most of our progress. Does the game still auto-save if you're playing with Best Friends?

If you're talking direct villager for villager trading with the same person, I imagine it usually involves time traveling. I'm not sure if it's even possible to naturally have a villager in boxes on the same day you have an open plot (outside of when you're first setting up your 10 plots, maybe).

Otherwise the idea is you just open your town to let someone take your villager, and then the next day you go searching for a new villager from someone else.

Oh my turnip price went up a bit this afternoon so I'm already locked into a spike, and I should know tomorrow morning if it'll be big or small. These past two weeks I only bought a single turnip so I could get the bamboo shoots in the mail, so I don't remember exactly what my buy price was. I think it was 93, which means 90% chance of large spike. But it might've been 94 which would mean only 50%. :(

I want a Photopia mode that lets me decorate outside so I can decide if something looks good before I tear up my island to implement it. Also because I could insert my villagers into the decorations instead of them ignoring almost anything I put down 99.9% of the time.

It used to be either Loves or Pilot I liked the best, but since some other ones started adding cold brew or iced frappuccino machines, it's switched to those ones. It's inconsistent, but I think I usually find them in AM/PM or 7-Eleven, or the Terrible's (or Rebel's?) gas stations in Vegas.

Forget Zelda, it's up there with Fortnite for the biggest game around.

But it wont last beyond a couple years (at most) let alone to the next game. It's really based on the weird situation.

So temporarily yes but long term no.

Animal Crossing was already plenty huge before New Horizons. New Leaf sold 12.45 million and Wild World sold 11.75 million. The only Zelda games to do better than those are BotW and OoT (and I believe OoT is only if you lump N64 and 3DS sales together).

I used to get that a lot but now it's been awhile since they've asked me to make a delivery.

The only errands/minigames in New Horizons are deliveries, bug/fish requests, lost items, and the outside chance of a treasure hunt. Also sick villagers asking for medicine I guess counts as one. No furniture requests, no time capsules, no hide and seek, no house visits/flea markets.
