The trainee who showed the photos to a woman in a bar did so a few days after the crash. 8:01 AM PT -- We're told the gruesome photos were also passed around by members of the L.A. County Fire Dept. and we're told that Dept. is now investigating. 7:21 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, multiple L.A. County Sheriff's deputies who responded to the crash scene took photos that included remains. We're told one of the deputies -- a trainee -- took photos and at some point went to a bar and, as one source put it, "He tried to impress a girl by showing her the photos." We're told the bartender overheard the conversation and filed an online complaint with the Sheriff's Dept. We're also told the cell phone photos were passed around at the Lost Hills Sheriff's substation -- the first responders to the crash. Sources say deputies from other substations around L.A. County also took cell phone photos. Some L.A. County Sheriff's Deputies shared photos of the scene where Kobe Bryant, his daughter, Gigi, and 7 others lost their lives ... and the photos included remains from the gruesome aftermath ... TMZ has confirmed. It's not clear who took the photos, but it was being talked about by first responders just 2 days after the crash, this according to the L.A. Times. And, according to the report, at least one L.A. County Sheriff's official had the photos on his cell phone "in a setting that had nothing to do with the investigation." The report does not say who took the photos and how many deputies and officials at the Sheriff's Dept. saw or shared the photos. The Sheriff's Dept. contacted families of all of the victims Wednesday ... an official told The Times the reason for contacting them was not because of the allegation but rather because there was a media inquiry over the allegation. The NBCUniversal-owned basic cable network has handed out straight-to-series orders for Day of the Dead an ode to George A. Romero's 1985 feature and fellow genre drama The Surrealtor. Both series are low-cost co-productions from indie studios that afford Syfy the flexibility to take swings. Both shows will launch in 2021. Day of the Dead tells the story of six strangers trying to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion. The 10-episode series is produced by Cartel Entertainment, the film and TV production, management and financing company behind Shudder's Creepshow, among others. Raven's Home creators Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas are set to write and serve as showrunners. Cartel partners Stan Spry and Jeff Holland as well as Drew Brown executive produce on behalf of the company, along with Robert Dudelson, James Dudelson, Jordan Kizwani from HiTide Studios. The Surrealtor, meanwhile, revolves around real estate agent Nick Roman and an elite team of specialists who handle the cases that no one else can: haunted and possessed houses that literally scare would-be buyers away. Researching, investigating and "fixing" the things that go bump in the night, the team works to create closure and closings as they struggle with demons of their own. The 10-episode drama is produced by Blue Ice Pictures, a Toronto-based indie film and TV production company behind Netflix's Ginny & Georgia, Kissing Booth and recently canceled Spinning Out, as well as Syfy's upcoming Vagrant Queen. Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron and George Olson exec produce, with the latter set as showrunner. In the video, she said her son had previously attempted suicide. "This is what bullying does," she said in the video. "Can you please educate your children, your families, your friends?" Yet what began as a plea has quickly become a movement. The video has been viewed 16 million times since it was posted on Tuesday, with Bayles receiving a massive outpouring of support from around the world, according to CNN affiliate Seven News. Among them is Australian actor Hugh Jackman, who posted a video message to Twitter telling Bayles: "No matter what, you've got a friend in me." "Quaden, you are stronger than you know, mate," Jackman said. "Everyone, let's just please be kind to each other. Bullying is not OK, period." A Go-Fund Me page set up by US comedian Brad Williams has raised almost $170,000 -- and he's using the money to send Bayles and his mother to Disneyland in California. "This isn't just for Quaden, this is for anyone who has been bullied in their lives and told they weren't good enough," Williams said on the fundraising page. The ex-"Nashville" star's BF, Brian Hickerson, was arrested around 2:30 AM on Valentine's Day, after the couple had a fight and he struck her "with a closed fist on the right side of her face" ... according to cops. The Teton County Sheriff's Office was notified of a disturbance at a private residence in Jackson. The caller said an intoxicated male was locked out of the home because he punched his girlfriend in the face. When deputies arrived, they found Brian in the driveway, and according to docs obtained by TMZ ... he allegedly told them Hayden was in the house "saying he beat the f*** out of me." Cops say he avoided answering if he had punched Hayden, but claimed he hired a private chef to stick around so he "wouldn't be accused of bull****." Cops talked to the chef on the phone, and he said he left a little after 1 AM -- but claims he witnessed the couple arguing earlier in the night. According to the docs, Hayden told cops she and Brian were in their bedroom when he started throwing her around and punched her. Cops say her face was red and swollen, and she also had a scrape and swelling on her left hand -- which she believed came from Hickerson's watch during the altercation. The deputies heard enough to book Hickerson for domestic battery. He was also hit with a second charge of interfering with a police officer for allegedly refusing to identify himself. When we last spoke with Hayden in November, she told us everything was well between Brian and her -- intimating they'd moved past his felony domestic violence arrest earlier in 2019. We broke the story ... the couple allegedly got into an altercation at their L.A. home that left red marks on Hayden's body, and police arrested Brian for it. However, the case was later dismissed for not being able to secure a "material witness" -- AKA, Hayden. Hickerson was also involved in a domestic incident in late 2018 ... with his father. Hayden was there for that one too. She's been dating Brian for about a year and a half. . . . Scumbag --- |
