But I've had family members make remarks in our homes with just us only, but they've had some of that racism long before covid-1, but the xenophobia/ has increased. So I voted as person of non asian descent, I have witnessed xenophobia. Maybe I should have made extra poll options for indirect xenophobia, but its okay --- Less is more. Outside of the news.. Have any of you experienced or witnessed any xenophobia? And by witness, this also refers to remarks of racism casually, even if its a conversation between coworkers, friend and family, and they don't have to be necessarily with anyone present but themselves.. And Who discouraging people from wearing masks is just backwards.. I get the 95 masks, but the regular masks needs to be a thing like east asian countries have been doing. Our governments really should have prepared for an outbreak years ago. That being said, the xenophobia against chinese and other east asians need to stop, especially overseas. Like the whole wetmarket thing and sanitary issues... The former is a cultural thing, and they should permantenly ban trading and selling of exotic animals/non farm animals and black markets.
