I can't imagine being a virgin past 30. What do you even do then? You're too old to hang out with 18-22 year olds, likely not active enough for twentysomethings and women your own age will be too experienced to have patience for someone who doesn't know how to do anything.

I don't mean to dunk on you TC, but it legitimately perplexes me.

I'm 32 and I'm a virgin. I've dated a couple times. Sometimes I feel discouraged, frustrated, broken and feel like giving up, but I know I can't. I can't wait for women to come to me and make the moves. That's not happening. And i'd rather find someone or stay single for the r at of my life vs parents trying to choose a partner for me.

TC, you can't wallow in self pity and be discouraged by nay Sayers. There is someone out there for you. Find out your faults and fix them. Going to the gym(working out)/taking care of yourself+hygiene and having self confidence (or at least projecting it) helps a lot. It's not going to be an overnight thing.

Well yeah, the longer you are single, the more you get used to it.

But are you happy? Do you want to get married, have kids with lifelong partner?

Cause if you are, then you have to do something about it. Have confidence in yourself for starters and work on yourself and be the best version you can be. Talk to girls so you can get an idea, improve on your health and image, learn something new and have topics to talk about that aren't just about you.

It is a bit harder in the current situation you are in, but it will get better. Download apps like coffeemeetsbagel and take some good photos and work on your profile

They are a scam. Count you calories using myfitnesspal. Whatever you're eating right now is probably maintenance calories (calories it takes to maintain weight). Cut it by 500-1000 via food to lose 1-2 lbs a week. Add some cardio in.

Main thing is diet. Eat healthy, smaller portions, minimize junk food and refined carbs.

I never talk to anyone if they ignored my last text. I don't resend, I don't ask them if they were busy later, basically I treat them like crap if I ever see them again because they're pretty much dead to me.

Reason I ask is this girl and I had plans to do something a while back, and in the midst she stopped replying. Now she is throwing a party because the state is opening up, and she is demanding to know why I don't want to go.

Not sure how to treat this. I've ignored her presently, but now she's message spamming me.

This needs more context... like your relationship with them, texting behavior with them, if you texted anything worth responding to, etc.

This is not a good thing to do/mentality to have in a general sense. You're not going to have lasting relationships if you cut people off because they didn't reply back once. It's extremely petty.

People get busy, genuinely forget or don't see texts (maybe have multiple people texting them at once).

If they don't respond to your last text and it isn't urgent, then give them space and text back again the next day or two. If it's urgent call them. Hell call every now and then if you have a good relationship with them, because texting can get boring if done 100% of the time.

the girl in this situation could have legit forgotten. She literally reached out back to you dude. What does she mean to you anyway? I'd call her and make the decision again to go or not. I think the party is a bit risky though

I dont see why it is necessary as playing fighting games isnt some sort of competition where physicality/athleticism is a factor.I mean why would they do that when they dont even separate leagues via Controller used which is probably the closest thing that could be considered giving someone an advantage/disadvantage (For the most part it really doesnt btw). FFS there is that dude born with some condition where he is pretty much bed bound with limited arm control who plays with his face who can absolutely body a whole lot of able-bodied people out there. So to say women cant compete with the boys is kinda sexist tbh.

I wonder if they will allow transgender/non-binary people though. Because there are quite a few at these competitions and they compete fine with the guys. Will it backfire where a lot of people might claim to be trans or something to compete in the league which might be perceived as 'easier' to get that prize money? Who knows. But I will be very interested in how it will be handled.

I don't mind it. Female gamers get harrased by men a lot, even competitors, so it offers a safer space.
