Ive thought about building a PC for a few years, and now that Im in a solid place financially, Im gonna use my tax return to do it.

I got no idea what Im doing from a technology stand point though. Im going to be doing more research of course, but any guidance you guys can give is super appreciated.

Budget Id say is $1,000-$1,200. Im not looking for a top of the line PC or anything. My main benchmark is that I want to be able to play through the Blackpits fight in Divinity Original Sin II without my frames coming to a standstill.

I was so mad when I saw this in theaters. There was a group of old white dudes in the back who just didnt get the movie and werent trying to. When the basement apartment flooded, and Ki Jung was smoking a cigarette in the bathroom as sewage erupted from the toilet, these dudes were almost in tears laughing. Arguably one of the most heartbreaking shots in the entire film and these guys were in hysterics because hehe poop.

Probably the PC game Ive played the most of over the past couple years. Super fun if you have a couple friends to play through with you. If not, its still a great experience playing through on your own.

Definitely feeling a lot less sluggish, which is great. Thats probably mostly from drinking less and eating less takeout, but the new diet helps for sure.

The no-meat diet is going good! Im still doing two days a week on meat, but its usually lean ground turkey or chicken breast. Ive been really liking cooking with mushrooms a lot. Plus I now have a vicious loyalty to kale and Ill fuck up anyone who doesnt agree.
