Oh hey eBay increased my limit again. So now I can sell 100 items / $5000 a month. Seems like whenever I got close to the limit, they just increased my limits without me asking.

I went out drinking last night and the night before. None of the bars I went to seemed to have any sort of precautions in place. Actually I tell a lie. The bar I was in last night had two jars on the bar marked clean pens and used pens. That's the only difference.

But other than that they were no different to pre-COVID. They were a little quieter than usual but still plenty busy.

Yeah when I had lung surgery and had it in for like a week. It was miserable. The worst part was after they took it out and it just constantly felt like I needed to pee even when I didn't need to or had just peed.

I'm also fairly certain it caused some sort of damage as my bladder became considerably weaker after that.

I live in Florida (Orlando), nothing happened. Things have opened back up so numbers have gone up as expected but nothing too bad. Not sure how numbers have been presented elsewhere but numbers only look bad because of how good the numbers were previously. Like I live in Orange County which has a population of maybe 4m and there's been 46 deaths total and like 3000 cases. So if they are showing percentages rather than numbers, any sort of small spike is going to show up as large when it really isn't in context

Yeah, I rolled everyone with Patches using 2x Salty Looters, the taunt pirate and 3 of the ones that buff whenever you attack (2 of the lower star ones and one of the high star ones). I kept thinking aa soon as I run into Divine Shields or Poison it's over but it just never materialized. Didn't even utilize the high tier pirates

I'd imagine a not insubstantial number of people will buy it and, depending on the length of time to release, never claim it. It's not like a pre-order that turns up at your door, you have to go back and claim it at some point.

Yeah, not sure how games being faster is an issue. Battlegrounds games taking 20-30 minutes is awful. I like Battlegrounds but because the games take so long it feels like you are making no progress and losing points after 20+ mins sucks

Yeah, I imagine they will keep going up in price. Basically as soon as I see them sold out everywhere, that's when I'll start holding. Right now you can still get them so I have no problem listing them because I can replenish whenever I want

I also opened the 4 Unbroken Bonds booster packs I had laying around and got nothing good in them (3 Standard Rares, 1 Holo Rare Slowbro). One of the packs didn't even have a reverse holo in which I am fairly certain every pack is supposed to get (since the Rare and RH are always next to each other in the middle of the pack)

So nothing good from 11 packs. Which is still a small sample size but figured I may have at least gotten 1 Ultra Rare or something.

Also, I just opened a few loose packs of non valuable stuff (SM Base, SM Crimson Invasion, SM Guardians Rising, XY Steam Siege).

From what I can tell you are guaranteed 1x Rare or above per pack and 1 Reverse Holo per pack

So small sample size but the rates were abyssmal. From what I can see the only thing worth more than $1 is the Holo Rare Alolan Golem which is worth like $2 on a good day

That definitely kills my desire to open any Hidden Fates packs where I would be pissing away $8 per bad pack (which seems to be more frequent than not). Or I guess $4-5 per pack if you say 'at cost'

EDIT: Also one of the packs (the double Masquerain pack) was all scuffed in one corner on every card which I may expect off a shelf but it came out of a box. So theoretically shouldn't have been manhandled in stores.

Probably the same reason I could sell 4 for $30-32 + shipping when other sellers are offering $6-7 per pack and free shipping.

Maybe I would sell quicker if I priced more aggressively but I just leave them sit until they sell. I have no idea why people overpay.

I sell 12 tins for $375. It cost me $216 to get 12 tins from Gamestop in the sale (17 per tin). Ebay/Paypal takes $50. Shipping is like $15.

If you sell packs individually (4 per tin) you can sell for $7.50 to $8 a pack. Then whatever you can sell the empty tin and GX card for (maybe $1-2 a piece)

$20 in store. They don't even have them direct from Target on their site though. Same is true for a lot of their trading card stuff

I'm just selling the tins period. Sometimes I have sold sealed booster packs though. I haven't opened a single pack despite having hundreds in the house.

Chris opens packs and sells off opened. He knows what he is doing though. For me to open up my stuff and sell off individually, I have to imagine it would be very high risk. Chris has enough inventory where it isn't and balances out I'd guess.

12 tins

The only ones I know of that sell for profit are Hidden Fates and Shining Legends Pun. Since their booster packs only come from inside tins and boxes rather than individually.

I'm sure anything is profit if you get it for the right price though.

If you're looking to sell single cards then I have no idea. All I do is basically look at the card value sites and also search eBay by sold listings to get an idea of if something is profitable or not.

It's more profitable to break them down but it's easier to sell in bulk as tins. After eBay / PayPal fees and eating the shipping, it's about $8-9 per tin (but I'm selling in 12s)

If you sell individually then you could probably get it up to $11-12 per tin but you would have to worry about selling little stuff and what to do about shipping. You also have to compete with people selling packs for $6 each with free shipping (no idea how they are turning any sort of profit on that)

Man, went to a target this morning to check for NBA cards after someone told me they found some valuable ones in one near them. What I did not expect to find is Hidden Fates tins on the shelf (I bought them all).

If you reduced the amount of time people had to think then some peoples play would suffer a performance drop. However, with time that performance would pick back up because they would learn to think and play faster out of necessity.

What is the turn timer? 75 seconds? At most it should be 60 seconds but I honestly feel 40 would be better. Actually I'd go lower but I recognize 40 is already significantly lower than what most people would say.

I just looked up Tales character fan popularity polls and errr it seems either the fanbase has awful opinions or mine are pretty wildly divergent from the consensus.

A whole lot of people seem to only deal in absolutes like everything is binary and other factors don't come into play. That's on both sides of the spectrum.

Yeah, I'm not against the protests for the record. The fact that COVID is still around and people are still willing to protest en masse speaks volumes for the cause. The protests are entirely justified.

However, yes they are obviously going to cause a huge spike in numbers down the line. I'm honestly surprised that the police haven't tried to justify their diffusion tactics with it being for COVID purposes or charging protestors with endangering lives / officers by exposing them to COVID. Not that I think they should do that, I'm just surprised they haven't tried to spin it that way (unless they have and I missed it)

I am genuinely struggling to think of RPGs I've played with a worse storyline than Graces F. It's a credit to the rest of the game that I actually played it to completion. I didn't even hate the cast. Just the story was awful and the way characters acted at times was mind boggling, it wasn't remotely believable.

Graces F needed the battle system to be good because the story was fucking atrocious. It was the sort of thing you'd expect like a third grader to put together

Honestly as shitty as it sounds, with how they have reopened everything and probably intend to stay that way, they may have been better off just not doing anything from the get go. It seems like if things are going to stay as they have now, within a month (maybe?) then those numbers are going to probably climb to near lockdown levels anyway.

I mean I guess we have better testing now, better PPE preparedness and have some minor preventative measures in place. Plus some people have immunity now. But it doesn't seem there's really anything to stop it from spiraling upwards again in a pretty quick fashion. Less so than pre lockdown but it should theoretically still get out of hand within 1-2 months (especially if those protest numbers cause a massive spike)

Also in an update about how useless Florida unemployment is. Week 9 now. Received $247 total. Should have received $7875 by now. Someone put out a form for escalation of people who haven't received PUA yet, it had 10k+ people fill it out within hours. On the plus side, numbers at work are trending towards $2-2.5m this week so I probably get to go back in the next few weeks.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but from what KCF has said previously in Discord then unless your defense has improved recently (I think he said your pass defense was really bad), then your defense hasn't been good this year.

I haven't played a Civ game in a long time but before I saw B8 talk about it in the last few years, I legitimately didn't realize there was multiple win conditions. I was so used to playing games where the goal was to eliminate everyone else that I thought the only way to win was via destroying everyone else or via points at the end date.

So every game of Civ that I have played, I have only ever tried destroying everyone else. I did always wonder why they cried about wars so much because in my head it was 'Well what the fuck am I supposed to do?'. That mentality was only compounded because whenever I didn't war early, people just brought the war to me so I figured that was the entire point of the game

EDIT: Oh I see why I was under that impression. Seems after googling most of my Civ playthroughs occurred on Civ 1 and 2. So by the time I played again on a newer version years later, I never bothered to try anything else as I wasn't aware of the extra win conditions.

The tablet + laptop combos are pretty nice. I have an older Microsoft Surface Pro for work and it's pretty cool to use, but they are a bit expensive.

What do you normally use your computer for? What kind of games do you play? Graphics cards are an expensive component of your computer and if you don't really game that much on it then you could probably opt to get a lower end one.

I picked up one of the higher speced Surface Pro 5 models (i5 7300, 256GB HD, 8GB RAM) preowned for $430 a year ago. I have to imagine you could get a newer version of it for the same price now.

Not sure you could game on them though given they don't have a graphics card. It can run old stuff on it (like I've run Final Fantasy XI on it) but I'd imagine anything that is like 2010 onwards will run like shit with the internal GPU they have and what I have to imagine is minimal cooling capacity

That being said for non gaming I'd recommend it. My gaming laptop hasn't left the house since I bought it and I usually take the Surface Pro with me every day when I'm working

I may just not bother having the offer active and leave it at buy it now. I have no problem having stuff just sitting until it sells so not a problem at all for me if it takes a while to go.

It does seem that prices are going back up. I saw 12x Tins going for $250-260 like a week ago. Now they are back up to $350-375. It's like there was a surge in availability or something.

So from what I've seen, having offers enabled just means you never get to sell anything full price as nobody will just use the buy it now, they always offer.

Melvin Gordon with 110 carries in 2 games. QB still threw 22 times on top of his 52 carries this game. Christ.

Wildcard race looks pretty tight in the AFC too. 9 teams on either 5-4 or 4-5.

NFC East is too good and is ruining the NFC wildcard race 7-2 Cowboys and 6-3 Pumpkins filling those slots right now. Although the Pumpkins have a pretty brutal run-in
