The announce came from UCF after the associate psychology professor took to twitter surrounding the mythological "black privilege" and said "If African Americans as a group had the same behavioural profile as Asian Americans (on average, performing the best academically, having highest income, committing the lowest crime etc..) would we still be proclaiming 'systemic racism' exists? He's the author of "White Shaming: Bullying based on prejudice, virtue signaling and ignorance. Black Privilege is real: Besides affirm. action, special scholarships and other set asides, being shielded from legitmate criticism is a privilege. But as a group, they're missing out on much needed feedback. This subgroup of Blacks has 'lots' of problems (many like missing fathers, having dysfunctional, uneducated mothers, surrounded by peers with sociopathic tendences). Lots of obstacles in life. She thought it was ground breaking for them to cast both her and Zendaya and to "not make it about our blackness" and commended the studios for taking a chance to cast women of colour She played Liz in the Spiderman Homecoming movie and although she was only there for one movie, she was proud to have been the first black actress cast in the movie. She thought it was ground breaking for them to cast both her and Zendaya and to "not make it about our blackness" and commended the studios for taking a chance to cast women of colour She played Liz in the Spiderman Homecoming movie and although she was only there for one movie, she was proud to have been the first black actress cast in the movie. Laura did admit when she learned Zendaya was cast, she was surprised to discover she was still in the running for another major role at the time She said "After i did my screen test for Spiderman, before i had heard anything, it came out a few weeks later that Zendaya was going to be cast in it, so i just figured i hadn't got the job.
