Imagine the same kind of thing developed by Paradox or another strategy game company. Ogre Battle I don't know, I've only beaten it maybe once eons ago (and got a terrible ending without really properly grasping how the game worked). Amazing game though (SNES one anyway). --- |

| Sahuagin 05/24/20 4:12:49 AM #102 | google can be wrong about their censoring without who they're censoring being right what you're talking about here is basically paranoia. from my experience, when a person is worried about something to an irrational degree, a mental switch can take place. rather than looking for an explanation that fits the facts, you instead fixate on a particular explanation and reverse the process trying to fit the facts to the chosen explanation. this immediately leads to confirmation bias and you slowly (or quickly) start to genuinely believe the explanation more and more. but this is flawed and irrational and does not get you to something that is actually true. take it another degree further than that, and it's basically schizophrenia. when you're not behaving rationally in the first place then you can't use rationality to get you out of it. the only thing I think that helps is hearing someone you really truly trust telling you you're wrong, and that doesn't always work either. --- |

(and I'm not necessarily right) "Biologger was developed with speedrunning in mind, how fast can you beat the game?" is a run-on sentence. "Over 5" sounds weird since it's a small number "Speedrunner friendly, plan your route and try to get the best time!" is a run-on sentence (or something else) If the fifth bullet point has an exclamation mark, then the other ones should end in periods (maybe... not 100% sure) (sounds like if each line is a sentence they should get periods; but since this is marketing material appearance might matter more than punctuation) "...here's a sneak peak of some of the features that will be available upon release!" should maybe end in a colon. --- |

I suspect there are issues with the Windows 10 copy window. though my first guess would be it's just the estimate that was off, and if you measured the actual time it wouldn't be that much worse. also, it sounds like you're probably using a USB 2.0 port. try using a USB 3.0 port if you have one instead (even if it's on the back of the computer). they will usually be the blue colored USB ports, and have way higher bandwidth. --- |

I vaguely recall having an issue similar to this right after upgrading to windows 10 (I wanted to play Forza), and I think getting the login sorted was what eventually worked. I've also read a lot of people saying that that was what fixed their issue. also, make sure you're using the right microsoft account, or maybe even try making a new one, etc. another thing I would try is see if there are any error messages in event viewer, it sounds like maybe there are no windows store log messages, but one guy does say you can find it in Event Viewer under Applications and Services -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Store -> Operational --- |

| Sahuagin 05/13/20 9:47:11 PM #28 | that's interesting but doesn't seem to be properly to scale. he's using a scale of 1 pixel = $500,000, so you should be able to get the number of pixels by multiplying the number of millions by 2. but then he makes a $50M shape 223 pixels wide which is over double the size it should be. also using squares makes the relative size of the shapes way off. volume is irrelevant only width matters. still, it does give a good indication of the difference between tens of millions and hundreds of billions. (and he did get the right width for Bezos at 278k pixels.) --- |

Carpa Demonthere's a lot I could say. to keep it simple, note that the game is not as hard as it seems (though it is in some places) and it's not really like an action game either (though it is a little). it could sort of be called, maybe, a "knowledge RPG". there is progression of your character, and there is also some progression of your own skill, but probably the most important progression is your knowledge of the game. the game goes out of its way not to tell you things, and even to slightly mislead you sometimes. the situations you find yourself in can be "hard", but any difficulty is magnified manyfold by the things that you don't know. your first playthrough where you're basically completely blind can be very frustrating because of this. I don't know if I like or don't like that initial part of it, but I definitely do enjoy it once things start clicking more. (also note that I think this is in strong contrast to Sekiro, where there is very little (not zero) character progression, some but not a lot of knowledge progression, and astronomical skill progression. (which is why it's an action game.)) --- |
