how does testing work in ireland? over here you can only get tested if you're already in a hospital the real number is probably 4 times higher than the figures show

we have a growing # of test centres, think most if not all of them are drive through which is all good news. only worry is that there is apparently a backlog of tests due to be done but i think we are doing okay on the test numbers front to date. they're still by appointment/referral only but not as bad as only being able to get tested in hospital

we're probably the same tbh on the numbers front but yeah UK system seems super weird

i mean, i had a pretty bad dose of the flu before xmas (was very feverish and had a bit of a cough. the main thing was neverending fatigue for like 4 days) but while it's tempting to attribute it to this i'm just not seeing it!

my gf did have a bad cough and a high fever about 3 weeks ago tho so wouldn't be surprised if she legit had it

Yeah I'm on mobile but don't have an ad blocker enabled seems to be exactly as you said. It's like some ads still show up and thus don't affect the page but when they don't load, the page shifts up
