I missed stealing the genji armour from Gilgamesh, but at this point, I didn't really care. Exdeath went down without too much of a fuss. Now I have a couple of days to kill until Rune Factory 4 Special comes out.

I believe it's set well after the events of Baldur's Gate 2.

You aren't paying to use origin, steam, gig, any of them. You pay for what they sell, and that's not the same thing at all.

You can download any of the launchers for free, but you have to pay for the content to access it. Same as streaming media.

All of the games happen in the same universe, so you get more out of the games if you've played the others/read plot synopsis. The Crossbell games happen at the same time as the Cold Steel games, and there are some references to Trails in the Sky in CS as well. There's nothing plot wise that you'll miss by not knowing these, but it does add extra significance to the others that have played it. I _really_ hope that we finally see the Crossbell games in the west. The port to the PS4 gives me hope that we'll see them here.

Most people have their favourite system that they use. Same with PC gamers. We would rather have our games consolidated under one platform. Fortunately, GOG is attempting to do just that by running as a front end launcher for other launchers.

Im not a pc gamer, mainly xbox1 and ps4. And I don't have the elite versions of either of those consoles. I guess I'll end up getting ps5 and the next Gen Xbox as well which may be 4k....should that make me lean towards 4k or no? I also don't want to spend too much on this.

If you're just going to be connecting consoles to it, you probably be better served getting a 4K TV. They're much cheaper than a monitor. For starters, I got my 4k monitor for about $320 CAD. It's 27". There's a 50" 4K TV available right now for $50 more. All modern PCs can connect to TVs relatively seamlessly.

There are several things you need to look at for gaming: screen size, response time, and refresh rate. If you're not looking at making it a primary gaming monitor, you don't need to go above 60hz refresh rate. Having at least a 5ms response time is the standard. 4K monitors are expensive, so you don't need to go that extravagant. You can probably get away with a 1080p monitor, or at the very most a 1440p.

A response time in layman's terms is how long it takes a pixel on the screen to send data in the form of light. Having a low response time reduces the frequency of artifacting and ghosting on screen. Aim for a 2 or 1 millisecond response time regardless of what you're trying to do.

I don't really have any recs for you, because I'm not actively searching for monitors myself. You can't go wrong with this standard name brands, though: Samsung, LG, etc.

1) Like Ubisoft's Uplay, you will require their Origin launcher to play games you purchase on Steam. No idea if you have to have it running at the same time, or just as an authenticator app when you first launch the game, and only one time.

2) it also appears that they have retroactively raise the prices of games available on Steam, but only those with regional pricing i.e. not in the US.
