In theory, you find Koroks by just wandering about and keeping your eyes peeled, but...clearly it didn't help me much. This is the exact same problem that Oddysey had. Basically, I climbed / glided / walked up to the third highest tier (the second highest tier is the path you take to get to the Divine Beast, and the highest tier is the actual mouth of the volcano), and then traversed the entire thing heading clockwise. Glided over various sections of lava, climbed when neccesary, and of course, using magic bombs to smash open those black formations, getting the gems inside. Good fun. I enjoyed it recently, and back in the day. But...it's very awkward. It's a prequel, some of the main characters don't appear at all, and a lot of it doesn't really gel together. It's also a bit too dark, with, you know...the incest. It's Lynchian, though, which is very good, and has some interesting scenes.
