That in itself happens every now and then.

The issue is how the CCP decides to handle the situation.

The issue is that knowledge of this pandemic happening through lab safety negligence would create a huge backlash to the research being done in these labs. They dont want this in the public discussion

I don't have a problem with this in theory because just because something came from lab doesn't inherently imply anything nefarious. Governments and private entities study diseases, this is not a new concept. I'm more than willing to believe that someone was studying this thing and the system failed and it got out.

All it takes is someone getting sloppy. Human beings work in these labs and no system is perfect that involves people.

I can't blame you. To me, FC is the weakest entry in the entire franchise (though that isn't to say I don't love it, too). Would you be willing to put some more time into SC? It's the entry that introduces the overarching story throughout the entire series, and I think the best indicator of how you'd feel about the writing elements and whether it's your cup of tea or not.

I am certainly going to try. I just havent really been in the mood for gaming the last week or so :/

Washing your hands poorly can't result in a situation where you're actually at higher risk than not washing. Using a mask incorrectly can.

Key things with a mask:
* Wash hands before putting it on, and before + after taking it off
* Cover both nose and mouth with good fit
* Don't touch any part of the mask while it is on your face.
* Moisture barrier: shouldn't be used longer than needed. Ideally under 15 mins, but up to 4 hours in some circumstances, sepending on the intention
The main risk IMO is people ignoring hand contact with the mask. Any droplets that transfer to your hand can be easily moved onto surfaces in the environment. Sometimes you also see people using it to cover the mouth but not the nose for some reason, too.

Check out worldometers and the asian countries where mask use is widespread and compare the stats to western countries that spread propaganda that masks are bad.

Idk, most of the games i was thinking of are so far off from that, they probably wouldnt be good recommendations.

Stuff like Crusader Kings 2(or any of the other paradox titles Eu4, Hoi4, stellaris), where you could play a co op campaign or civilization5/6. Divinity Original Sin 2 is great fun co op as well. If they got Total war shogun 2 for free, you guys could try to do a coop campaign in that

FF14 would be fun, but is probably a little higher budget since you need a sub.

Stardew Valley is one of my favorites
