Disagree. Most of the abilities are just general purpose movement options that have applications all over the game world, and the couple with more limited application like Flash can still be used to attack.

I actually really dislike the last ability you are given, because it makes pretty much everything else pointless.

Though at the very least, not counting the last area of the game, there is only 1 collectible/secret in the game that cannot be gotten without it. At least in no way I was able to try(its a big spirit globe above a now windy area)

The platforming is so fast and smooth I really love the game/series.

Though I will say this game suffers from a zelda-like problem of abilities being used in their dungeon/area and then being forgotten forever(Why I tend to prefer games stick to a more linear path rather than the open split Ori sets up).

Easily still a very high ranking game. Everyone should buy/play.

I bought five figures worth of airline stock and watched it lose 10% in a day today. That was not very pleasant, but I'm hopeful that I can hang onto it for a year and make bank.

Just have to tell yourself it is not a matter of if you are going to make money, it is a matter of when.

Obviously, the later in the slide you buy the better, but it is better to be early than late.

I preferred the more platforming focused bosses to the combat heavy ones. Running away from them felt amazing, but wailing on them was not as fun. None of them were bad, but they weren't that interesting (I did like the Bash-heavy part of the final boss).

Wasnt a huge fan of most of the bosses, wasn't ever really sure what and where they were hitting at any given time. I kind of felt like you were encouraged to stay away and hit them from a distance rather than discern any sort of pattern.

Final boss was good though.

Any idea why some of these listings pop up and vanish almost instantly? I've seen Buena Park pop up a couple times(this is a 25 minute drive, an hour tops in traffic, this is ideal). But it either vanishes immediately or is no longer available after I make a couple clicks.

i really recommend getting one of these seasonal amazon jobs, base pay for the one i'm hiring manager for is $17.25 with differentials added for nights and weekends. they're also paying extra for working overtime (more than the usual time and a half) and the mandatory overtime is actually optional because they are excusing all time off right now, even days they called as "mandatory"

yeah it's seasonal but it's seasonal for a reason, we know this is going to die down and we know a lot of people have other jobs they're going to go back to. take advantage of this while you can, you aren't held to a rate for the first month so you can coast and get a great paycheck then quit once your other job starts up

Plausibly? Not really. I think it's severely doubtful we could have had it under control anywhere close to the degree South Korea does. There's a unique combination of less privacy (WAY more CTV and civilian tracking in Korea) a better medical system, and just overall a different culture that makes their response better than anything the US could have done.

Trump obviously fucked up, but I don't think the US was set up to succeed here regardless of president.

We could have literally just imported their test.

I think people forget that if the Democrats had Presidential power right now they'd be shoving the issue of health care in the face of the public every time the Republicans said no and we'd be far closer to an M4A-style legislation than we are right now(M4A is...not remotely close to passable right now).

Right now the biggest voice the public has is a "Task force" that doesn't believe in social distancing telling them this is the greatest pandemic response the world has ever seen(We are already inferior to South Korea on this specific pandemic).

In the interest of coronavirus shaming

Got back from my run with my dog a couple hours ago. There were probably about 5x the number of people there usually at the park. Most of the regulars(Which include a lot of 65+) were not present, almost entirely people I'd never seen before. Way too many of them were 65+ and there were way too many adults bringing out their 10 and under children(There were a couple children that had to be 2 years old or younger).

Worst thing were the 65+ that were still using the publicly available exercise equipment. But the single biggest shame was the dude probably in his 50s on one of those slightly elevated bars they have for people to do pushups or whatever they do with them. He broke out into a coughing fit and literally spit on the ground and got some on the bar.

There were too many people that went out and got McDonalds or other fast food and brought them to eat on picnic tables(Seriously, stop touching things eat at home). No large gatherings but lots of people doing things they shouldnt or being in an age group where they should be at home isolating.

For myself I pretty much kept just off the running path and maintained preferably about a 10 foot distance between myself and anyone. Pretty much no risk to me in a large open area with no touching of anything.

Also honestly it shouldn't be that hard to pass a very simple plan that gives every adult $1000 a month and then like $250 or some number per child(Scaling downward per child) or something. Start it for 2 months and then be prepared to reup and do it again.

(And lets be real, once the government starts giving us something akin to a UBI they are going to be hard pressed to take it away)

Btw as a long term investment, look at the Cruise industry as one that should rebound pretty hard once life starts normalizing. They pretty much have had all their teeth kicked in and their guts ripped out so not long from now they will have nowhere to go but up. And people like cruises a lot.

Dow is up 4% in futures right now. Hopefully we can rebound some.

We had a correction day after the last big drop, I think this is probably about right(I'll hold a more tempered prediction of a 1.5-2.5% gain at that most). I expect the markets to fall again as we head to the end of the week(I did put in some orders for some short term gains).

step 1 is file for unemployment. a lot of places have waived the waiting period so it should get you money asap.

In a similar boat, have job but no work so I'm kind of in limbo. So I filed for unemployment even though eligibility is...questionable. Just wanted to get the first part of the paperwork done on that because I expect unemployment offices to be bogged down to hell. If my job suddenly decides they are going to pay us, I can just cancel the unemployment immediately, but I wanted to make sure I had a head start.

The rain has made the choice easy for me lately, but I typically begin every day going out to a local park and running a pretty good distance with my dog. Now, obviously theres people there(not many, but people). Getting near people is less than ideal, but theoretically theres no problem keeping a healthy distance from the few people out and about. I think it should be ok to continue this practice, but I'm not entirely sure.

Funny enough, my dog actually still has a bit over 3 weeks on being isolated from other dogs. He came down with what the vet thinks is a form of kennel cough and I was told to keep him from having any close contact with other dogs for a month because we have better guidelines for keeping our pets healthy than we do people. So we'd already been doing the "theres a dog coming up lets veer way off the path" routine, we just have to expand that to include people.

Medicare for All even would not automatically cover coronavirus testing. Medicare still has a government approval process. If we already had M4A and Trump inherited it as president, its very possible we'd still be in a very similar boat to where we are now.
