It shouldnt be done to babies unless theres a medical emergency. If people once they are older decide they want to be, then let them. Nothing wrong with that, but the procedure shouldnt be forced on anyone. Even for religious people, I feel it shouldnt be done until the person is old enough to decide that yes, they do want to be part of the religion.

Sick people also arent too noticeable to hide away with Covid, unless you test...they could have something else that looks similar and doesnt spread as easily or theyre treated incorrectly. That results in less sick people.

Im assuming with your response you meant better support for keeping testing and increasing it, but your words dont really make sense in that context (or to the quote).

What I was saying is that not testing won't accomplish what he'd want. There'd still be sick people and people would know there's sick people.

Except thats not true at all. Testing is the data which can lead to numerous results, it just depends on what you do with the data. Simply having it be a stat isnt going to result in less sick people. Using it for contact tracing, pro-active measures, quarantining people, and learning additional data from testing can greatly impact how everyone approaches the situation. That all helps result in less spread.

I don't know if you are saying this to defend less tests, but if you are then that hurts our odds of fighting this. Tracing is how every country has beaten this, you can't trace without tests. It's really that simple.

I am not defending it. I am saying there's no benefit to reduce testing because it doesn't result in less sick people and sick people are a bit too notable to hide away.
